I’m constantly surprised at what they stock! The other day I was marvelling at their extensive cheese counter (eh not bad for a little neighbourhood store), and then I see smoked meats… and what next? They bring gourmet treats right into the ‘hood, and granted that Tanah Merah is a little more posh than the average east side suburb, it’s great to see a supermarket afford you these luxuries across the street from something as local and «heartlandia» as a hawker centre.
If you go by, keep your eyes open for the specials on… really anything, from Kettle chips, to wine, or cheese (yes, cheese again). And if you don’t mind a couple steps in the heat, park across the road in the public car park! The underground car park costs $ 1.50 for the first hour, and you probably won’t need that long.
