This is the only air-conditioned coffee shop around this area. That being said, the food here is more expensive as compared to the other coffee shops, probably because part of the money goes to the air-conditioning. However, the air-conditioning is often not fully turned on during off-peak hours, possibly due to some energy saving plan. This makes the indoor environment a little warm and stuffy. Outside seats are also available, well equipped with fans. There is quite a variety of food here, including Yu-kee Duck Rice franchise and Japanese food. This is also a 24-hour coffee shop, so sometimes you get to enjoy live sports broadcast during the sports seasons.

I decided to have the western food because I hadn’t really indulged in any coffeeshop western food for such a long time. I went with the traditional chicken chop and it turned out quite alright. Its not bad but not good either. The sauce was a little bland but the chicken was cooked thoroughly which is important. I’d have preferred if the skin was a little crispier. I did get a little disgusted when I saw the cook use the same pair of tongs for cooking to tap the signboard when showing another customer what was sold out. A few question marks over hygiene maybe?
