Bukit Timah Fried Black and White Carrot Cake

One look at the photo and you know that the carrot cake here is going to be superb. First of all, the smell is really tantalizing and before you even start eating this, I’m sure your mouth will already start to water. The carrot cake here has a nice golden brown crust that is crispy and light to the bite. It’s a little hard to describe this but somehow, the fragrance really finds its way to your mouth. The bite is a little stiff but I liked the fact that the kway was pretty smooth and overall, just a pleasure to eat. I always order my carrot cake with chili and the chili here is perfect. Not too spicy and complements the taste of the carrot cake. If you are a carrot cake lover, you simply cannot go wrong with the carrot cake at this stall; personally this is one of the best carrot cake stalls in the hawker centre.
