Very good steak at affordable price. Other western food like chicken chop (thigh) and fish and chips are fabulous too. Like their seasoning.

The first time I came here, I was ready to drop 5 stars on this place. But, the next time I came here with some friends, I had some of the nastiest burgers and fries I’ve ever had. I don’t know what was responsible for the discrepancy between these two visits, but I can’t escape how nasty the second visit was. The patties were incredibly small such that the patties were completely hidden by the buns and were just not beefy-​tasting at all.
But, the fries were pretty decent. That would probably be the only positive of this place. Mind you, they were not exceptional in any way, but I would eat it again any day.
The location may throw you off. It’s deep inside of the HDB block where the hawker center is.
Expect to pay between $ 8 — $ 15 for a meal.

Yup. In case you were wondering, this is REAL American food. Or at least the kind of food you get in the US at county fairs, festivals and the likes. I’m in Singapore at NUS on exchange from the US, and happened to be craving some of that artery-​clogging, fried, meaty deliciousness. Botak Jones delivered beautifully. It was definitely better and more authentic than any of the other «Western» places I’ve been at various hawker centers. I got the Whoopass Chili Cheese Fries and was completely, 100% satisfied with my decision. The chili (beef?) was saucy and spicy, and the crinkle cut fries were crispy and seasoned with chili powder. I will definitely be coming back for more, and would recommend this place to anyone who’s homesick from the states.
I was a bit confused finding this place the first time, but to reassure you, it is on the bottom floor of a housing development, so the area will look very residential. Just follow the smell of grease and meat and you should find it soon enough. This place is about 5 minutes walking from Clementi MRT.

Botak Jones has always been one of my favourite western food joints in Singapore, and I used to frequent this particular outlet during my days as a NUS student. They serve up great fish and chips, cajun chicken, cheese fries and mashed potato. Price-​wise, expect to pay around 8 — 10 bucks per person and expect your waistline to grow by a few inches after you’re done with your meal. Their portions are larger than average and this is great for big eaters.
