This is one of the many reasons why i love my country! Cheap supper! Bedok 85 is a food centre that operates from day to night. Some stalls are opened in the day and some in the night. Well… Some food are not really meant to be a day food for us. Eg. Satay & bbq food? Anyway, i was here on a thursday night 11pm, parking and finding a seat is easy. If you intend to be here on wkends, be prepared to find yourself going rounds & rounds looking for carpark lots, seats & a long long wait for your food. This location is not near to MRT. I like the bbq chicken wings, minced meat noodles in soup & occassionally. Oyster omelette. The taste is rather inconsistent. As for which stall to order from… Just go for the longest q. Thats what most of us do! They sell similar stuff and price is stated clearly. Find a table, order, pay & wait.

I can’t believe that there isn’t any entry yet of this temple of glorious food place on Unilocal.Tucked in the neighbourhood of Bedok, it isn’t exactly central but whatever time you drop by here, you’re gonna see a crowd, whether is it 10am or 10pm. It’s like a mini food Mecca because of the genuine-ness of how food is prepared here. The BBQ stalls here are trustworthy, try their chicken wings and you won’t be let down! The main highlight here will be the two famous stalls side-by-side, selling soup Bak Chor Mee. With a rich soup stock, generous toppings of «floating» minced meat and chewy noodles, you are in for a treat! What most people’s conundrum will be at first visit, is which stalls to choose from? Up till now, I don’t have the answer but try both and see which you like best. They actually come from the same«family-syndicate». All in all, what I like is their authenticity of how they prepared the food. No diluted sugar cane juice, no bland soup and no food trying to be something that it’s really not with artificiality. The awesome part is, I’m not even referring to any stalls in particular!
