I haven’t given one star because it seems mean to do so. Went with two other friends, ordered for myself a tofu soup, friends had the Saba fish yaki and seafood ramen. I am used to having tofu jigae that comes with a good portion of accompanying veg and sometimes mushroom in the soup besides the tofu. This one is literally just some tofu swimming in msg broth, just slightly better than those free miso soup when you have a Japanese bento, and only in terms of number of ingredients you can count inside there. The side dishes are like only two? The food court type of cheap kimchi and pseudo Korean anchovies that tasted more like ikan bilis with chilli powder. The restaurant is set in a foodcourt and had poor exhaust pipe so the greasy smell from all the stalls and other adjoining restaurants like the Indian restaurant next door gets picked up by your clothes. Better quality Korean food can be found at Hwang’s in U Town, at NUS the university

Baek Doo San is situated in the food court at the new wing of jurong point. It is not usually crowded so food are served fast. We wanted some korean food but never expect the food there to be good. I ordered a kimchi fried rice and Kimchi soup and it was accompanied with around 4 side dishes. The food was nice unexpectedly and we really liked what we ordered. But the price is abit higher than what you get in food court although it seem like you are eating in a food court. Services was passable and I would definitely return back for more food if I am around there and happened to crave for authentic korean food

I went to Baek Doo San(which is locate d in level 3 of the new jurong point extension) for a weekday dinner. Since we arrived relatively quickly, the place was not crowded, which is a good thing because I hate to queue. The service was prompt and attentive, and the food came fairly quickly after we had placed our orders. We found that the spicy Korean rice was good, and the sauce was thick and delicious. We also had the BBQ pork, and found that the meat was very well marinated and tender. One thing to note is that the drinks here are somewhat expensive, so we stuck to plain water. Overall, I think this is a good place to go for good Korean food, and the price of the food is not too expensive either. My friends and I are pretty much a fan of the barbequeued meat here(be it chicken or pork).
