This is a discreet Japanese design shop where I love shopping — but not too often. Sometimes, I only window shop, as some prices are quite forbidding. They have some beautiful items, handmade by superior artisans or small companies. When you look carefully, you do find good value for money but some things are for my humble purse simply too expensive. The service is superior: it’s rare to feel really welcome in a shop, but here they can convey this feeling. I hope they manage to survive, and I wish them also a bit more coherence: it’s a bit too much a bit of this and a bit of that without a clear line. This may simply be due to the way the items are displayed. I remember a similar shop in Sydney on Queen Street where they could learn a few things.
