This place is welcoming on arrival and gives the sense of home though I know this sounds alittle weird . Food wise, it was nice, just not something too memorable. Not that it’s bad, just not having that wow factor.

I first ate at 7Adam in Feb 2012 and was not very impressed. It wasn’t bad but just not memorable. The place is nice. In a Black and White Bungalow and surrounded by lush greens, it is a great place to chill out. I went there again on Jan 72013 and discovered that they have a new Chef, new menu, and new Manager. Service was excellent! It’s what every restaurant should aspires to. Friendly, not pretentious! We skipped the starters and had the Green Curried Beef pasta to share. It was delicious. Beef was tender and the sauce was very tasty. I had the Sea Bass and it was good. So for those of you who have ate there previously, it’s worth another try.

Came here for fiancé’s birthday. It was his choice — wanted a nice, quiet dinner in peace, which was what we got! I made reservations through which was pretty easy. Also made a request to have a candle on the dessert as a small little surprise for the birthday boy. The location is quiet but not so secluded, it’s along Adam road, just look out for the Adam Park left turn, there are 2 «Adam Park» left turns, make sure to take second one, I made the mistake of turning at the first one. Once you turn in, you’ll immediately see the black & white bungalow with the 7Adam sign on it. There’s parking space right outside the bungalow, which is free and very convenient if you drive. We were served warm bread first but the butter was unfortunately rock hard. Our choices from the menu: We shared the scallop starter — 3 scallops with caviar and salmon roe and asparagus — delicious, love the pop of the salmon roe, also enjoyed the creamy sauce. We also shared the codfish with orange hollandaise and lamb shank with couscous and rice pilaf. I prefer the very light codfish over the heavy lamb shank. The orange flavour was really refreshing, thought if you’re very hungry this may not exactly fill up your tummy. Then came the dessert. We ordered a chocolate fondant to share and it came with the candle just as I requested plus several waitstaff served it with a soft rendition of a birthday song. Very nice gesture thought a little awkward hahah. The fondant was perfectly made — you can see the gooey chocolate centre when you break the delicate but crusty exterior. It came with a vanilla bean ice cream with cherry sauce. Delicious and not too sweet. For awhile we seemed to be the only diners on a wednesday evening. The restaurant also houses an art gallery so you can check that out too if you’re looking for art to hang in your house. Final verdict: Good for a quiet lovely simple evening if you feel like driving out for dinner.

An excellent place to chill out and get giggly drunk with a few friends. And the food’s not half bad too! Seriously though, the food is actually pretty commendable. We kicked off our meal with the recommended 7Aam special, a virgin mojito of sorts. Very refreshing. The 7Adam trio platter was a showcase of the restaurants most popular starters, and boy was it. We had foie gras with apple compote, seared tuna loin and crab cakes, which were all pretty awesome. We shared the pan seared sea bass(nicely done), the portobello mushroom linguini(one of the better ones we’ve had) and the braised wagyu beef cheek(melt in one’s mouth tender and tasty to boot). Desserts wise, we shared the chocolate soufflé(I’m usually not a big fan of chocolate but this was pretty good), peanut chocolate mousse(delish) and poached pear in red wine sauce(my absolute favourite!), and ended the meal with a round of Creamilicious Kitkat cocktails. And another. And another. By the time we finished our third round of said cocktails and one round of Fruity Tingles to mix it up a bit, we were hopelessly high and giggly. The lovely black and white colonial bungalow with paintings everywhere(it is an art gallery space afterall) provided a gorgeous ambience … and I think our cocktail induced cloud of happiness just made everything that bit more sparkly. Service was also pretty good. We didn’t have to wait too long for our food or drinks, and were always able to get a wait staff’s attention.
