Love taking a walk into this gallery. Get past the heft price tag, appreciation of art’s free! I’ve found several works of street artists that I’ve enjoyed during my time in Europe. Not only do they have pieces, they also have related products like apparels and products of symbolic art like nara. The prints are fairly priced and there are a good selection f local budding artists being represented here. I’m glad for the variety and the frequency of new artists here making each trip less than dull. Good art education if you are having dinner near by, don’t have time to read or head to the museums.

Not a run-of-the-mill art gallery, M.A.D offers an eclectic collection in a space that has been tastefully decorated with unusual furniture pieces. They offer many items for sale as well, ranging from t-shirts to prints of Chinese artist Song Wei’s wonderfully quirky artwork. You can also find products with Yayoi Kusama’s signature designs, along with a large variety of special edition Lomography cameras, such as the Qing Hua Diana F+. Still life paintings by Koh Kim Seng are presently on showcase, and the exhibition space is sparse and uncluttered enough to highlight the simplicity and beauty of the paintings. But don’t go simply for the artwork. Take the time to browse through their wide-ranging display of knick-knacks.
