Extremely disappointing meal from here today.
Salad was among the worst I’ve ever had. Big lumps of semi wilted iceberg lettuce combined with overripe mushy tomatoes, and huge amounts of raw white onion that is browning around the edges. Bland dressing and shredded simulated feta cheese truly makes for one of the absolute worst I’ve ever had
Fries clearly from a bag and frozen, with no real taste or seasoning on them
The gyro pita itself was the best part of the meal, this actually was quite good. But the sandiwch alone isn’t nearly enough to make up for the horrible salad and fries.
Cleanliness is not great either
Sorry but this is a very justified 2 out of 5 rating from me

the guy behind the counter had a thousand yard stare, didn’t even greet me, just walked up and looked at me until I ordered, then he just turned around and sluggishly started making the order. Gyro meat was sparse, and the gyro itself was maybe half a notch above the kits you buy at the metro. Fries were meh, salad also bleh, price was average I guess, but for the quality definitely not worth it. I don’t really do Unilocal reviews but something about this place left a bad taste in my mouth, literally. hit Greek Grill or Pita grill, much much better than this joint. Obviously won’t be back which is a shame since it’s so close.

For a native Haligonian like myself, the donair here is the closest thing in Windsor, Ontario you’ll find to the original donair in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I ordered the Donair and Greek salad — a nice take-​out combo that gives you the sweet taste, from the donair sauce, to compliment the olive oil/​vinegar/​feta cheese flavorings from the salad. Eating in just really isn’t an option unless you’re a visitor with no place to go.
