This is my go to ice cream place whenever I’m down by the beach, if that means anything. I’ve been here countless times but just never really got around to writing a review(oops). Anyways, the quality of the ice cream here is fantastic and all the flavours(that I’ve gotten so far) have never been overly sweet or creamy, which is good. The owner here makes all of the ice cream and waffle cones and also has some pretty good vocals. The flavours rotate frequently but I’m a huge fan of the Early Grey. Even though there are cheaper places along the beach to get ice cream, come here for the above average ice cream and live Sinatra performances.

After lunch and a long walk down by the water, my husband and I came here to have some ice cream. The owner was very nice and the ice cream was good quality. It’s very smooth and creamy. Apparently he makes it fresh ever morning.

Even on this chilly spring day, there was a crowd of people in their windbreakers and scarves who made their way into this little ice cream shop served by a Sinatra-singing man proudly serving his handmade ice cream. I got two scoops($ 5), one of the London Fog(vanilla tea latte-flavoured) and one of pistachio. His menu featured flavors from raspberry cheesecake to cookies n’ cream to coconut or chocolate. I couldn’t tell if I felt happier because of the sunny weather or this perfectly flavored ice cream.

The owner handmakes his own ice cream and tries out different recipes. He will also listen to customers’ suggestions on flavours as well. We tried the London Fog ice cream(Earl Grey tea and vanilla), which was absolutely delicious. He advised us to eat it slowly so we could savour the taste of the tea. I tried a sample of the Birthday Cake ice cream which was yummy too. I just didn’t like that it was cash only. We didn’t have much cash on us so we scrounged up just enough change for 1 scoop to share between two people. If they took debit, then we would have ordered 2 scoops for each of us for sure. I would give 5 stars if they took debit and credit. The owner is very friendly and likes singing to his Frank Sinatra songs. He is very friendly and truly has a passion for ice cream since he talked to us about his creations.

The cookies and cream flavor didn’t taste like it at all. Had no cookie taste whatsoever. Disappointed!

After a nice stroll along the pier and /or beach this is the perfect place to grab an ice cream cone. It’s a small ice cream shop that is not as eye catching as the other ice cream parlours but they make up for it with good ice cream. The owner is a personable gentlemen who did an excellent job of attracting us as we walked by. «Best hand made ice cream around here. You can buy one of mine and one of the ones down the street and compare but I guarantee mine will be better!» So I strolled in with my friends and after the owner patiently let each one of us sample a few of his dozen flavours(bubble gum, M&M ice cream cake, chocolate), my friends went with the M&M ice cream cake which apparently was also delicious and creamy($ 3 for a regular cone). Being the baller that I am, I selected the Ferero Rocher with a waffle cone for $ 4 whopping dollars which was very rich and tasty but not overly sweet. The cone was also very good and tasted strongly of egg waffles. Made small talk with the owner for a bit and kicked it. I would definitely come back here next time I’m in White Rock. There’s a reason this place has been around for over 30 years!

We drifted in on the wafting allure of handmade waffle cones and a contented owner singing gently to Frank Sinatra. I sampled the Caramel Apple flavour and instantly fell in love. The owner told us that he also hand-makes all of the ice cream available as he rolled off a few fresh waffle cones. The Caramel Apple flavour was dreamed up by the owner’s daughter, whom I think is BRILLIANT. As IF I could leave this place without a cone! I decided on the Caramel Apple in a fresh waffle cone, which was still literally hot from the press. The cone was so tasty and the flavour of the ice cream was creamy and bright, not artificial. An immediate favourite. Perfect. I tell you, that place is made of love, ice cream and magic! Amazing product, warm service, good prices. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

After dinner at Cielo’s one night– a friend of mine had said that her family never leaves White Rock without going to Cones Creamery… That night, i was stuffed beyond belief, so all I wanted was tea. But I kept the tip in my head for my next visit. A few weeks later I had dinner at Iguana’s and was ready to try Cones Creamery… Not bad at all! I was boring and ordered S’mores on a regular cone for my little guy. But it was soooo good. There were a ton a flavors to choose from, but I kept it simple. Service was great– no complaints here… We’ll be back to try other flavors!
