Although the produce and hormone free meats are great, the music is way too inappropriate and loud for a country market –high octane crappy rock which DOESNOT keep the customer there long, nor comfortable, nor does it make it easy to concentrate on what you want to buy. I would buy a lot more there if I didn’t feel rushed to get out of this tense environment. The average age of customer that I’ve seen there is 40+, and many seniors(we’re the ones with all the money to spend — we do not want to hear this music, trust me. I suggest the owner/manager/staff take more care about customer service and customer comfort. It is not a night club for them, it is a market for customers.

We were directed to this place by one of the staff members at Brentwood Bay Resort, and we stopped by to have sandwiches before going on a hike. It feels like a small grocer, farmer’s market and deli in one. They have a full-service deli with some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, and their baked goods were fresh and tasty as well. The produce was lovely, and if I lived in Victoria, I’m sure I would’ve left with armloads full of fruit and vegetables. We sat on the deck and ate our sandwiches, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Stop by this hidden gem — you won’t be disappointed!
