We popped in here to use our free beer sample with hotel check in. We were pleasantly surprised. It was quite empty, but apparently most of the hotel guests were up at Bear Mountain for a large golf charity event.
There was free pool in the corner, reasonable pricing on drinks and chatty, friendly staff. My spouse’s drink was mixed up, but they left the error and replaced it, so we got two drinks. It’s nice to see bars doing that, it’s so rare these days. They came to ask how we found the cocktails, talked about some different liquors and were overall very pleasant.
We also had breakfast here, and the breakfast buffet was an absolute steal at $ 12, very, very much worthwhile.
