Friendly staff is eager to help at every interaction I’ve had with them. Upgraded rooms are very spacious and include a kitchenette stocked with kitchenware — very nice for business travel. Never heard a peep from neighbors. Workout room had ample fresh towels and was well maintained. Fresh coffee in the lobby in the morning is a nice touch. Great place to stay– can’t wait to come back.

What a total disappointment! The lobby looks nice but that’s about it. We stayed there for a hockey tournament and I would never stay there again. The rooms were NOTHING special and the housekeeping was horrible. Rooms didn’t get cleaned until 5 pm, dirty towels were simply hung back up and nothing was replenished. In addition they try to nickel and dime you for every extra. The pool doesn’t get stocked with towels and the desk staff seems put out by all requests. I wouldn’t recommend this at all!

We came here on a recent stay in Victoria and I was happy with the experience as the hotel felt very modern inside and out. The only downside was that the check-​in and out process both times took longer than usual. What usually is completed in a couple minutes took like ten to fifteen minutes.
The place was very clean and the lobby has a nice rustic, but modern feel to it. The bedroom was a good size with a big comfy king size bed with all the usual amenities and the bathroom has a very big shower stall with all the soaps and shampoos all ready in a fancy pump canister. They also have complimentary Wi-​Fi once you check-​in that they provide you with a password to log-​in with.
It was very quiet during our stay here even though the hotel seems to have been booked to capacity with all the cars parked out front and the hotel is located right next to a Costco which is a big plus for filling up your car before driving off. It was such a short stay for us here as we arrived quite late in the evening and left early in the morning that I didn’t have a chance to explore more of the hotel.
Overall a very enjoyable experience and I wouldn’t mind coming here again if ever in the future.

The pool is indoor so we expected it to be warm. That was a bad assumption and welcome to the polar bear club!!!
Everything else was fine except I paid extra for the breakfast and it only included it for two of us. I asked how much for my 9 and 10 year old kids. $ 10 each per day seems pretty steep for that age.

We came here as a team for a ball tournament. I think we lucked out as we got one of the newer rooms with a huge shower that you could easily fit a few people in.
Everything was very clean, sound was good (I couldn’t hear my neighbours), and it had all the things one would expect (fridge, Wi-​Fi, safe, hair dryer).
I hear there was a pool, gym, and other amenities as well but we didn’t’ have time to check any of them out.
Overall I would definitely book here again.

Was really happy with our experience here recently. Front desk guy was super friendly, beds were amazingly comfortable for a hotel, the bar was really nice and food was great! It was tucked away away from the main road but quiet and luxurious.

This hotel was fine enough. The building is fairly new, so it was nice, clean and bright. The pool area is so-​so, the steam room door is warped, letting steam escape, for example. The gym is nice, though.
The bar downstairs is lovely and check in included a sample sized beer per person, which was a nice touch. The tea in the rooms was all decaf.
Check in took a small eternity, which is where the low rating comes from. It took around 15 minutes for one person to check us into our 3 rooms… which were all booked and paid for under one name.

I really liked this hotel. Five minutes after entering the room front desk called to see how the room was and asked if there was anything we needed. The room was clean, We were given a room on the top floor like we had requested and was mostly quiet. Internet was super fast and everything in the room looked fairly new. Great amenities, kids and husband enjoyed the pool which was pretty busy and I enjoyed the gym which was dead, the equipment was great and since no one else seems to want to exercise I had the place all to myself! Will be coming back here on my next trip to Victoria!

We booked this hotel through Hotwire and they treated us like second-​hand customers. Right next to the lobby and on the first level. The customer service was rude and unwillingly able to assist with making our experience a great one. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and staying in downtown Victoria is worth a little extra $$.

I was here last year and it wasn’t a good experience. Reason I chose this was because I try to pick Starwood hotels and because they had a jacuzzi in the room. For a premium room, I expected the room to be nicer but it looked quite old. The shades were broken and it took the 2^nd day and Twitter to finally get acknowledged about the issue. Apparently maintenance team forgot about us even though I had called to report it. The manager called our room right after I posted a photo onto Twitter to let me know that they will send maintenance up.
Guest services could have topped up the game by offering something for the problems ahead of time. Instead at the time of check out I told them of the bad experience and they tried to offer me breakfast. Kind of too late then when I checked out and am getting ready to leave.
I’ve told the hotel I would not return back to this location.

Lots of potential for a reasonably priced, family style hotel. That said, it missed the mark. The front desk was disorganized & poorly staffed. The room wasn’t clean & had maintenance issues. Housekeeping staff could barely cope. Not to mention, our room was still not made up as of 5pm daily. This is not the Sheraton I know. Not sure if its the management or they just rely on the areas beauty to get them by. Either way, we will likely go elsewhere next time. Overall, disappointed.

Our room was spotless and the beds are astonishingly comfortable. The shower valve had been forced hard-​around and was a bit tricky to figure out. There’s an indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna, and a large-​for-​the-​sort fitness center.
Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, parking was a breeze, and there are lots of shopping and dining options within walking distance. Our room had a small fridge, the first bottle of water is complimentary, and the complimentary internet access was fast and reliable. Would definitely stay again.

3.5 stars overall. Banquet dinner menu had four entrée choices — baby back ribs, fish and chips, pasta, and fried chicken. No bread came with the salads, which was 4 stars. Pasta was ordinary, no veg., 3 stars. Fried chicken was way overdone and dried out, 2 stars for the chicken, but the accompanying rice pilaf and veggies were 4 stars. Fish and chips — fish was perfectly battered and crisp, 2 big fillets of cod perfectly cooked, 5 stars, but no coleslaw or veg, only decent fries. Fries also came w/​the «BBQ» ribs, no complaints, 3.5 stars. Dessert was killer, 5 stars for the fruit crumble and ice cream. $ 30 for any of the above 3 course meals (salad, entrée, and dessert), anything buy water was extra, like alcohol, soda, or coffee. Typical hotel prices, 3 stars for value. Served on the patio w/​heaters, we were either too hot or too cold — under the heater, I was toasty warm, but the bare spots on my head and neck felt too hot, so 3 stars for ambience, which outdoors is weather dependent, could be anything from zero to 5 stars. Fish and chips if I ever eat here again, forget every other entrée. Ample free parking.

It’s a good priced hotel in a convenient area .the bathroom could use a super clean and the toilet runs. The front desk is very nice. The pub downstairs was decent too. A little more attention to detail in the bathroom would have made the stay more enjoyable

We selected this hotel because of the parking (we were trailering boats and needed ample parking.) Parking was great and the lot seemed and was safe for two nights. No problem at all.
The hotel, however, was a bit ‘shabby’ for being a newer hotel. Our room was adequately clean, but the bed was poorly made — it seemed like the staff was either not very good, or in a rush. The fixtures seemed worn and the window sill was totally falling off.
The restaurant downstairs was just ok — and when I made the mistake of walking out the door at the end of the downstairs hall, I found an alcove that was absolutely FULL of cigarette butts and ashes. Totally gross and unacceptable for a hotel. The staff was friendly, but not overly helpful. The price didn’t match the quality.

This hotel is new as of August 2008, because when we visited for one night in September, it had only been open a month. It’s about a 15 to 25 minute drive outside of the downtown area, which is not much of a problem if you have a car. But it is on a major highway which can cause delays during rush hour. The attached restaurant is a level below the lobby, which is funky. It was adequate for what it was, and seemed slightly more expensive than it ought to have been, but perhaps that’s the new exchange rate we now live with. The room was fresh and clean, and the bed was soft, comfortable, with luxurious pillows. There was somewhat a few of the evergreen covered hills, but nothing really out of the ordinary, and overlooking the non-​attractive parking lot. The bathroom was excellent with full length glass doors on the shower. If you want a super-​comfy bed, this is worthwhile, but if you don’t care too much about the room, a hotel right in the downtown area might be a better option. Being new, we got a pretty good internet rate on the room.
