Gazebo Bed and Breakfast

This is an absolutely beautiful and restful property located about 15 minutes away from downtown Victoria and 15 minutes from Butchart Gardens. It’s an easy drive in either direction. Martin and Linda were fabulous hosts, providing scrumptious breakfasts (which were very filling) and insider tips that helped us on our stay. Our biggest dilemma was whether to stick to our plans for the trip or just stay and relax in the gardens at the B & B!
The rooms and the cottage are lovely and include small fridges and coffee and teapots. The beds are super comfortable. The décor, including the tapestries, is elegant but not stuffy. Book a stay here — you won’t regret it!

We had 4 ladies in our group and stayed overnight in Camelot and Regency. It was perfect because these rooms were next to each other and each uniquely and beautifully furnished with private entrance and direct patio access.
Martin and Linda were gracious hosts and accommodated us with everything we needed (even the things we couldn’t think of and forgot to bring!). They kindly supplied us with picnic mats and bench cushions to make our Saturday night concert and fireworks viewing at the Butchart Gardens so much more enjoyable and comfortable. Each time before we drove off on our excursions, they made sure we were well informed of our destinations and finding the way back to our lodging and equipped us with useful directions and tips on local attractions.
Breakfast of course was one of the highlights of our trip. The dining room was elegantly and impeccably set with candle lights and fresh flowers. We enjoyed everything served to us that morning — yogurt and granola; fresh fruits; warm biscuits; and hot plate of scrambled eggs, ham and roasted tomatoes garnished with pretty flowers.
We only stayed overnight and it was sad to depart without having had enough time to thoroughly enjoy all the lovely things Gazebo has to offer. We definitely hope to visit again to experience and appreciate the wonderful place more fully. This particular bed & breakfast was one-​of-​a-​kind and truly special thanks to Martin and Linda’s personal touches. We felt so welcome and at home.

My wife and i had a wonderful 4 night stay here and it was just awesome! The location is just wonderful, about a 15 minute drive from downtown Vic, and the evenings are quiet and serene. The central location is a plus. The weather was low to mid 70’s and we enjoyed Kayaking and shopping, plus an evening trip to the Observatory. She especially liked the jetted bathtub in the room to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing etc. We have stayed at a few other B&B’s over the years and this place is hands down the best of them. Martin is attentive and helpful with places to go and things to do, without being overbearing or intrusive at all. A great tip is that they have a quite detailed map in each room of the surrounding area, so you can drive around the countryside and not get lost!
We are thankful that we found this hidden gem, do not hesitate to stay here. Thanks again Linda and Martin for making our 5^th year anniversary so memorable.
