Bought a social shopper for a wedding dress dry cleaning and at first they were quick to answer and was able to pick up my dress the next day. I called them back the following day to see how long it will take and they said 3 weeks. After almost 4 weeks of not hearing from them I tried calling and no one picked up my calls and I ended up emailing them. They said it would be ready by end of the week the following week and when it was close to the end of the week, I still hadn’t heard back. So it was pushed to another week after that. After going back and forth with calling and emailing and I even had to get my husband to contact them. It was so stressful not being able to get a hold of them or getting an email back from them. I even thought they stole my wedding dress and I was ready to call the cops if I still didn’t get my dress back. So after almost 8 weeks, I got it back and this is after bugging them to return it to me.
Awful service and communication. If you tell customers that something will be ready within 3 weeks it should be ready before the 3 week mark!
Read reviews on services or anything before buying a social shopper or groupon… If I knew how bad the service was going to be I would’ve just paid more somewhere elseto get it done.
One positive thing was my dress did come back clean.

This place is a SCAM. They didn’t clean my dress but stole $ 250+ of our money and refused to refund it until we disputed it with the credit card company!
They promised the dress would be ready in 3 weeks. In 3 weeks, we called and they promised me my wedding dress would arrive the next day and demanded payment up front. We paid them. Then we didn’t hear from them for several days and they completely missed the promised drop off date and did not respond to emails.
When we called the following week, their office was closed for a whole week because the boss went on vacation! He took our money and went on vacation without letting us know anything!
They ignored my emails CONSTANTLY until I threatened to call the police for theft of my wedding gown. It took a couple additional weeks of serious stress to get my wedding dress.
When it came back:
1. My bustle button was missing and they claimed there was no button on the dress when they got it but there ABSOLUTELY was.
2. The dress was still dirty. There were little bits of dried grass on the bottom of the dress, some dirt that rubbed off with my fingers, and rose petal stains were still on the bottom.
3. They were paid extra to mend fraying in my wedding dress and they did not — there was still fraying all along the bottom of the dress.
I believe they did not even do anything with my dress except store it a long time to make it seem like they were doing work on it. We asked for a full refund and they kept telling us they were looking into it to get us at least a partial refund. They did not. They were stalling so we would get close to the credit card company’s deadline for making a dispute. Finally, we just went ahead and started a credit card company dispute.
I repeat: Huge scam. Takes your money and runs, very difficult communication, does not give your garment back for several weeks more than reasonable, returns it in terrible condition, and does not refund the money for the business that was not rendered. Completely dishonest company and service.
UPDATE December 18, 2014: Four months of disputes later and we finally got our money back from the credit card company. It says a lot that Valet Your Laundry refused to give us our money back but the credit card company did.

Worst experience i ever had!
When I gave my jacket to them, there was no stain, no damage on it since I wore it only for one season last year. In other words, They made the visible, obvious stain all over my Canada goose (color faded out with chemical thing) so that I cannot wear it anymore.
But They don’t even wanna fix this problem .
It looks so bad .
NOT RECOMMEND!

Harvey is the man! This guy goes above and beyond to make sure I get my clothes delivered on time and really accommodates where ever I am! And the clothes, they always come in fresh and clean. Love this guy, I continue to use their services and I suggest you do the same :)
