Average Chinese sushi place.
Very affordable.
A little too much rice on the rolls and sometimes they fall apart.
But I’m a sucker for good value.

Japanese restaurants are very plentiful in Vancouver and it takes quite a lot to stand out in the crowd. That is why I find that being thorough in reviews is a must when it comes to picking out the ones worth visiting and giving your service to.
I came here with one other during lunch time in the middle of the week and it was nice and quiet. The prices were decent and the portions were generous.
We always order the takoyaki as a test for each Japanese restaurant we dine in and while we have had much better, Sushi 7 takoyaki is not bad considering it is cheaper than most.
We ordered the Awesome Roll and the Viva Roll and were pleased by the rice and fish ratio. We also tried the beef teriyaki and chicken karaage. The teriyaki was nothing too special and I will probably not order it again. The chicken could have been better if it was not given to us with no sauce or anything to help alleviate the fact that it is extremely dry.
We might not go out of our way to go back here or bring guests we want to impress here but it is a nice place to grab a decent roll.

Small but Cozy place, highly recommend their avocado tempura and salmon tempura, very tasty~~ we had the seared toro nigiri, it was good and I like that they service it with small amount Of rice. they have a huge variety of special rolls, white dragon became my fav. Will Definitely come back to try out some more rolls

Just ordered in from here.
I don’t know where to start, the agedashi tofu is soggy and terrible. I ordered plain rice for my niece and nephew and they put the sauce on it instead of on the side and the kids say it doesn’t taste good at all and won’t eat it. Plus, 4 very small bowls of rice for $ 10 — insanely overpriced. The vegetable yakisoba was watery and cold. Never ordering from here again.

It was mostly ok. Avoid the Yaki Udon, though, that was sub-​par. The beef smelled like cat food. Everything else was 3 stars.

2.5 stars, basically edible but definitely not authentic nor very significant in taste or craftsmanship. It’s Chinese run I believe, a modest seaweed salad costs $ 4 and was too sweet but texture was good– it’s most likely something that was pre– bagged and opened to serve. The rolls are just ok as well– tried 3 types, they were either lacking in a defining taste (of what it’s supposed to be) or rolled too loosely. Presentation is decent for both salad and rolls. I won’t be coming back because they charge upper end pricing for mediocre food. I would come back if they served their food as all you can eat for $ 25 then it would be a reasonable price given the quality. Service is decent. Washroom needs renos. repairs and organization even though it’s relatively new.

While shopping at Choices markets, got hungry. Unilocaled and I found this place. Went in for take out. 10% off for pick up. Their menu has lots to choose from. I got the spicy girl roll And house 7 roll. Both quite good and I thought the rolls were made quite well. The fish and rice ratio was perfect. I will definitely come back. The prices are reasonable and even though they don’t serve real crab meat here they do have sockeye salmon. And if u please also brown rice.
It not a huge place but it’s quaint and quiet. And the staff seem friendly enough.

3.75 stars. Average local Vancouver sushi joint. No hidden surprises or bad things to say. Fresh sashimi 15 pcs for $ 17 (includes toro and Ikura). Fun Rolls are $ 8.95. Mostly booth seats. Good place for catching up with friends as it’s not loud!

I was in the area on business when I had a craving for sushi, and limited time. I ordered a Hawaii roll and spicy salmon roll. I eat a lot of sushi, and love trying out a new place. I was not disappointed that I did!
The rice was very good, and there wasn’t too much of it. Everything tasted very fresh, and the Hawaii roll was very light with just the right amount of mango. The sauce was good in both, but the spicy salmon could use more spice. All in all it was beautifully presented for a Styrofoam container (I do love the planet but sometimes it can’t be helped) and hit the spot.
Vancouver is a hot location for good food, and you would be hard pressed to find a block in the downtown «ish» area that doesn’t have at least one sushi joint. If your around Cambie for sushi, and you would usually go to sushi bang, I recommend this place instead.

Came here on NYE as shiro was closed. Service was excellent and they even have heated benches at the back tables. Prices are very good for the area.
Ordered the California crunch roll, spider roll, salmon and tuna sashimi and chicken yakiudon. Everything was delicious. Will definitely be back here again.

We have been looking for a new sushi place in the area since to shocking decline in our regular spots.
Ordered three of the special rolls (to go) and all of them were very good. Will have to come back for a proper sit down meal so look for an update soon.

Found this new sushi join in my neighbourhood. Was super impressed. Couldn’t have been more fresh, quick friendly service. They just opened up a month ago, and I highly recommend going. Had their spicy tuna, wild salmon sashimi and salmon avocado roll. Delicious, clean and will 100% be going back.
