I used to love this place. They had the best customer service and were really fast and hardly ever screwed up my order. In the past two or three years they’ve had a high turnaround of workers and I don’t think the newer baristas care as much and/or are getting proper training. I’ve gone in there when there has been no line, 6 people behind the counter, and I’ve still had ridiculously long waits only for them to mess up my order. This is now a regular occurrence. I really used to love coming here…

Going through the drive-thru, line up is not too bad today Monday to Friday the line up can get ridiculously long. As most Starbucks are, this one is clean and organized. Barista is friendly and chatty(which is great) Thus location has more seating than others and also offers outside seating during warmer weather. My drink today(Caramel Machiatto) was made perfectly

Friendly staff but slow as hell! Drive through take 15−20min. Used to be top shelf but has gone down hill with new management

Order a drink and ask for whipped. The girl made my drink use the say they out of whipping cream and show me her empty bottle. While the other guy have another bottle of whipping cream in his hand. Like are you kidding me? Is whipping cream that hard to made? What kinda customer service is this?

Friendly staff and they always remember my wife’s ridiculous drink order. It’s super convenient for me cause I don’t have to remember her order, I just count on them. Overall this is my favorite place to get coffee and I attribute this to their friendly staff

C’mon Starbucks, didn’t you think we’d notice? I brought my cool coupon over to get a cheaper latte and added on a brownie and the cost was 7+ dollars. So «La Boulange» is costing me an extra 2 bucks now? That could start adding up. I don’t object to the quality of the treats which are reasonably tasty, it’s the whole corporate, pulling the wool over consumer’s eyes, betting that a pretty-in-pink new marketing campaign with it’s accompanying fancy new price tag is going to fool us into spending even more of our hard earned dollars with you. Not to mention that you’ve switched your baker from a local company to a San Francisco(read: US based) behemoth, causing the employees of said local company serious lay-off insecurities. I’m going to think that’s not going to go over well in local food lovin’ Vancouver. There are several excellent bakeries and coffee shops in the area I’d recommend as alternatives where your baked goods are made locally; such as the amazing Italia Bakery(almond thumbprints to die for) or the Laughing Bean, where you can get you get a dose of humour with your coffee and fresh cream cheese muffin.

This location is definitely one of the more unique ones around town, for several reasons. 1. There’s a parking lot in the back, behind the building. 2. There’s a drive thru. The trade-off is that the location actually isn’t as big as it looks. There are a handful of tables, and some bar seats. The interior definitely felt a bit more cramped that other locations. With that said, there’s an E facing patio, which must be nice during those summer afternoons. Staff were friendly and quick. My coffee tasted pretty decent.

It always confuses me when I see a Drive through Starbucks. One day I want to walk up to the drive through just for shits and giggles. It is a large starbucks, service is decent and the line ups are always long.

I call this Starbucks«difficult Starbucks» because my visits are consistently challenging. To sum it up, rude staff who don’t care is the problem here. Friends, here is the tale of what happened on my last visit: Feeling calorically ambitious, I ordered a salted caramel mocha frap, half sweet. I like them half sweet because full sweet makes my pancreas explode. Anyway, problems started when she needed to know exactly how many pumps of syrup to put in. «Half as many as you normally do,» was my(sarcastic) answer. «So how many pumps of mocha?» Really? Okay, I’ll play along. I asked how many they normally have, she said three. Fine then, half of that. This continued on for the toffee syrup. At this point, I’m SMDH in disbelief. The barista couldn’t understand the ticket that their ordering system spit out and questioned me on it. I reiterated that I wanted a half sweet drink, which was, of course, no problem. She proceeded to make my beverage and handed it over. I took a sip… something was missing. The salt! They neglected to put salt on. I love salt. So back over I went, waited in line at the barista stand, and let her know about the missing salt. Her reply was«Oh, we’re out of salt.» *blink blink* No one at any time had told me this. I asked her why no one said anything. She didn’t have an answer but did apologize. They were just going to let me walk away with an improperly prepared beverage, and yet had no problem charging full-price for something they weren’t able to prepare as advertised. I know it’s only salt, but that isn’t the point: if they had told me upfront that they were out of an ingredient, I would have picked something else, no problem. To her credit, she offered to make me something else and was truly apologetic, which was very nice. However, as this was the most expensive drink on the menu and they were not keen on refunding the difference, I would have ultimately been overcharged for«anything else». I declined the offer and sprinkled on a little sea salt when I got home(delicious, btw).

This Starbucks opens up late but doesn’t almost have the best service around. I understand it to be a drive through but they don’t really keep up with the starbuck standard. I always order my vanilla latte but it always taste different every time i go. I usually go at night and they seem to have a pretty rude night crew. This one girl at night doesn’t smile whatsoever and yet makes my drink wrong. She remade my drink after that I requested to be remade and did not apologize. I may be a bit picky with my drinks but it is a $ 5.00 drink. I would like it made the way I want it to be.

A drive thru… if this drive-thru is too busy, there is another Starbucks down the street with a drive-thru too. My friend is notoriously late… she will call me 15 mins after she is supposed to meet me and tell me she is just running out the door from work and will be home in 10 mins… she lies… luckily, instead of skulking around her alley waiting for her to show, I have a Starbucks to sit at. They have a parking lot… and if there are six cars, then at least they have free street parking out front(good luck since there’s a liquor store) or on the side… Lots of little tables… try for the nook with a view of the people leaving the drive thru.

Besides being awesome(it’s a Starbucks after all) don’t come here to recharge your electronics cuz there’s only one outlet near the corner benches(if indeed that is one-someone is using a laptop way in the corner) –that’s the only reason it’s 4⁄5 stars. Visiting on a friday at 9am each and every the 11 tables are full. Perhaps if I had a car, the drive-in would be a better option?

A good Starbucks and one of the selection few that has a drive-thur on it too. My drink was properly made, so I am pretty happy on that. Non fat, xtra hot, extra matcha, 6 pump SFV, Green Tea latte. I was totally satisfied of that. Good going guys. The foam was perfectly made to my standards, and the weight was perfect. Layout is perfect here. Inside seating is very comfortable and the place just seems huge for a Starbucks. The patio is a perfect place to be if it’s nice and sunny too. They have such fast service here even I’d you order from the bar. The line ups are not big which is good and the size of the place is perfect. The staff is friendly, which is a good plus and the guys who work here are hot too. The place is clean and the condiments station is filled and the place is kept upright. I am happily satisfied. Good work guys.

This is a fairly hidden Starbucks, not located on the corner of the street, but in the middle of Hastings, between buildings, this one is actually quite comfortable. You can enter from either front or back(from the big parking lot on the backside there’s an entrance to this place, if you didn’t know). All the normal fixings to know that this is a Starbucks. A nice little front patio with 2 tables, and some couches and chairs inside. Easy to get to, and enough parking in the rear.

This is the drive by Starbucks for me. It’s convenient if I’m going up and down Hastings and I can pull up beside it for street side parking. I jump out, and when I leave I jump back in. Inside there is a little nook that I like to lounge at to talk or to work — past the left side of the counter.
