My review is for the commercial drive outlet. Yes, its pretty simple. You get what you pay for and that’s in a good way. I always get the cheese pizza otherwise you don’t really get any cheese. If the cheese hasn’t recently been pulled out of the oven then get what has. Its the way to go here. The pizza needs to be warm. So yes, its no Via Tevere but it wont cost you $ 25 bucks and you wont wait 2 hours to eat. I f I need to list my top five cheap fast street pizza I think their number #1 for the price, I like the sesame seed crust also. yeah, they don’t suck!

It took an hour and a half for my pizza o arrive. They didn’t have the drink I wanted, they sent the guy to the wrong address, and still charged me $ 4 to pay by card. First time ordering and will prob be last.

OK pizza for the price, particularly on cheap Tuesday’s but be aware they charge you an extra fee if you use credit card to pay. I prefer going to Uncle Fatih’s pizza a couple blocks up the Street on Nelson

It was one of those sad nights after a concert at the Commodore. I made the mistake of not eating before the show and only had little cash on me hence why I didn’t order anything to eat inside the club. Come 12 and this place was open. I had 2 slices of pizza, however, this gave me the worst tummy ache ever. Not only was it greasy but the sausage I think it was did me in eventually. In terms of cleanliness it wasn’t there. No one cleans up after themselves so there is always sauce and crumbs on the few tables that they have. No one comes by to clean either, therefore, it is more of a grab and go situation. I am not just talking about during the Saturday night clubbing rush, this is all the time. The characters that come in are priceless and half the entertainment in itself.

Street pizza — the food of many a night owl and clubber. Parking here is horrendous at night, as it’s on Granville Mall. Try some spots a few blocks away. If you ride a bicycle here, make sure you have a really good lock. The pizza is delicious, and consistent with the rest of the the chain. So why 2 stars instead of 3? This location has to be the nastiest out of all the locations I’ve ever been to. The floors were sticky, and there was spilled sauce and who knows what else all over all of the tables and seats. My buddy mentioned he really didn’t want to sit down — I was already one step ahead of him on this one. You want to eat the pizza outside. The other thing that sets this location apart from the competition — there’s a hobo who opens the door for customers here. Not sure if he’s here everyday, but I’ve seen him quite a few times. Pretty sure it’s the same guy.

Really nice place! I went here when I was visiting the city and I definitely want to go back and eat poutine again. Really recommendable, even though the environment is not the fanciest. Specially great for tourist that are looking for a quick meal before continuing exploring this amazing city.

This place has horrible customer service at night time, they don’t smile or anything. Hire someone with good attitude next time.

This is a great location for late-night, after the bar food, but if you’re ordering for delivery on a regular evening, they’re terrible. I’ll take responsibility that the first time I ordered from them, I typed in my telephone number incorrectly, BUT they had my address, my order and my email address. Instead of delivering my much anticipated pizza, they threw the order in the garbage when they couldn’t reach me by phone! This resulted in me waiting an hour and half for pizza. No bueno :( Tonight, I ordered again. I had been waiting over 40 minutes on a Sunday evening and still hadn’t received a phone call to confirm my online order. When I called in, they asked me to hold and yelled around the kitchen. The woman returned and told me it would be 15 minutes and I’d be getting $ 5 off. I’m not going to turn down $ 5 off, but it made me wonder if they had lost the order again, and were trying to right the wrong. Anyways, I’ll obviously order from them again, because I love Megabite and they’re the location that is assigned to my postal code. BUT, I’ll also be making a point of calling them within 15 minutes to make sure they got my order. Geez, I’m hangry writing this! **Turns out they delivered my pizza to someone else, and because they didn’t complain about getting a free pizza, they didn’t know it was missing… I’m calling from now on.

Came here after a night of going out and this place was packed. You had many types of drunk people in the establishment so people watching is a must here. I got the poutine fries which was a mistake because the cheese curds were melted due to the extremely hot gravy. I should have gotten pizza at the time but I was craving fries. I’ve had the pizza before, kinda on the dry side but it doesn’t really matter when you are plastered.

I ordered a pizza for delivery. It came in 30 minutes. However, they messed up the order. It had the wrong sauces and they forgot to put on some toppings. Called to inform them, and it was a little weird trying to figure out what they were saying. From my knowledge, they’re supposed to be delivering a new pizza with. Also, they didn’t give us all the soda we ordered. For the actual pizza, it is below average. Literally no sauce. Very, very dry and unflavourful. I wouldn’t order here again.

I absolutely miss this place! I lived in Vancouver for a year, and this had some of the best pizza late night. The seasame seeds on the crust is a brilliant idea! Gives it that extra something! Great to grab a slice after the bar, a lot of funny moment happen there at night. On New Years, one of the clubs we were at had pizza after midnight, and it was funny… The whole place was talking about how good the pizza was… Obviously it was from Megabite.

Megabite is the best! They have so many interesting flavours and it is seriously addicting. I love the Monster pizza. Megabite is better than the other local pizza places, especially Uncle Fatih’s pizza. I did not care for the crust at Uncle Fatih’s at all, and it made me sick after I ate it. I kept hearing how good it was, but it was a huge disappointment. I love grabbing a slice from Megabite because it is cheap and delicious! To top it all off, they always give away big prizes on their website like iPads and iPhones if you order online from them. Bonus!

$ 2.50 for this, is $ 2.25 too much for this nasty disaster of 5 pieces of pineapple and 2 slices of spam-like ham on a piece of cardboard covered in a mysterious red sauce. g

Well I moved to Vancouver from Ontario about 14 years ago and while there is great local cuisine this side of Canada I’ve resigned myself to the unfortunate realization that people here know nothing about what pizza should be, be they Megabite, Romano’s, Numero Uno, Uncle Fatih’s they’re all HORRIBLE quite frankly with one exception downtown and that exception is Pizza Garden but this is not their review so on to more suck. First off the cleanliness of their establishments is appalling, I realise that this is not fine dinning but a little more effort could be made in keeping the place presentable. The pizza if you can call it that is horribly dry, bad crust, skimpy toppings, usually over cooked, the list could go on and on, every time I walk by this place I want to yell inside«Turn down the suck and turn up the good.» The even bigger shame of it is that they seem to possess all the prime real estate downtown for eatery’s like this. Oh how I wish Pizza Pizza the chain from back east could have those spots instead. Back east Pizza Pizza is considered slumming it in terms of pizza but we know it’s just there for a quick bite of pizza pie on the go and it’s miles above it’s Megabite equivalent to the west. To all you other«pizza» places downtown that try to fool us by giving yourselves an Italian sounding name, shame on you! You’re about as Italian as Chairman Mao. P. S. — Any pizza that you’ve got to drown with ranch sauce and dips is not proper pizza so let that be your rule of thumb.

$ 2.50 a slice? WTF? That’s really expensive. Is this their late-night rape price? No one gives a shit about how good the pizza is — everyone is drunk. If you can stand the douchebaggery in this joint after the clubs close down — the entertainment here is hilarious. It’s full of bros and overly-excited drunk girls that want like to interject into your inane rants and wants a high-five… think about that for a second, «I just overheard what you said and I agree. I believe you are a fine gentleman of the highest calibre. Now let’s commence with the the slapping of open hands above our heads». You can initiate this conversation by loudly stating, «_________sucks/rocks!» It’s a thin line between friendly drunks that want to shoot the shit and bros that think you’re hitting on their ‘gurrrl’ because you’re within a 5 feet radius of her. Any guy with a girl is desperately clinging onto her, lest she be seduced by another suitor with $ 2.50 in his pocket. Anyone that struck out at the club is prowling for ‘salvage booty’. It’s the zoo on Granville — there’s a lineup and concessions are expensive(once again — $ 2.50 for a slice of ghetto pizza). The primates might as well be hurling feces. The only difference: you don’t know which side of the cage you’re on.

One of numerous $ 1.56 + tax a slice pizza chains open in Vancouver, Megabite had a few pizzas to choose from. The same price applies for cheese, veggie and meat pizza. They put your pizza on a paper plate for you without reheating it. * Veggie pizza: crust was medium thickness, uniform height, and soft(not floppy, not crispy) with fresh spinach, fresh tomatoes, red onions, and unmelted cheese on top. The sauce was sweet like a spaghetti sauce. The crust had sesame seeds on the outer crust. Strange pizza… not horrible but not good either. I didn’t understand the unmelted cheese on top, sesame seeds on the crust, and how people add hot sauce to the pizza. Guess it’s pizza, Vancouver style. They say their pizza is fresh never frozen… I’ve had better frozen pizza but for under $ 2 a slice, it’s hard to complain. If they charged more than $ 3 for the slice, I’d give them 2 stars. You can also order whole pizzas and appetizers(e.g., poutine). It’s open till 4AM… I think they charge more for late night pizza slices.

I am a fast food pizza junkie and i don’t care who knows it anymore! There used to be some good ones in town, like Pizza Guys and Gigi’s, but Pizza Guys shut down and Gigi’s just isn’t that great anymore and they’re expensive for what you’re getting. So we settled for Panago’s for awhile, but you really might as well just go to McDonalds and beg them to resurrect the McPizza. Then we found Megabite Pizza. Sesame seeds sprinkled on the crust, and REAL bacon offered as a topping where they don’t cheap out when you actually order it! It’s cheap and it’s fast and it serves it’s purpose — getting you disgustingly full after a late night at the bar and filling you up again in the morning while you recover from your worst hangover ever.

What the hell happened, Megabite? My memories of delicious, cheesey, hot pizza is no more! This was my go-to late night pizza joint after stumbling out of a bar or friend’s apartment for years. The last 2 times I have had the opportunity to eat here, I was left unsatisfied. The slices seem to be thinner, cardboard-like and it’s not even hot! Come on guys… So sad. this place definitely went down hill.

Once, when I first moved to Vancouver, I got in a cab with some friends after the bar and when the driver said«where to?», one of us, who had had an impressive amount to drink for her size, said«take us to pizza!» The driver just nodded and started driving. Then my friend leaned forward and said«STOP! Take us to pizza… WITHDIPPINGSAUCE!!» The cab driver didn’t say anything this time, but he immediately spun a quick u-turn, screeching tires and sending pedestrians scrambling, and took us directly to this Megabite. And they did, in fact, have dipping sauce. That was 4 years ago. Now, the slices have gotten noticeably smaller(but the price hasn’t risen as fast as elsewhere: a daytime slice will cost you $ 1.75 incl tax). At this size, it’s barely a deal any more. Two slices now cost as much as a California roll, which is healthier and tastier and about as much food. Also, after all the pizza places went through a toppings revolution a couple of years ago, Megabite has lost its creativity. It’s the same varieties on the counter every time I go in there(and sometimes it looks like the same actual pizzas as the previous time). There are much better pizza slice places on this strip, and I think I will start checking them out more.
