Great food, tastes like home cooking. The staff is so friendly. Price is very reasonable for the amount of food that you get. Best hummus ever :)

I really like the salad bar. You can load up your plate of fresh veggies and then top with falafel or chicken for $ 1.69÷100 grams. Nice lunch with tons of flavor

Very friendly, cheap eats and authentic as it comes. Very good for take out and the portions are very generous. Little space to sit down inside, however, this is more of a grab and go situation. The owner was really friendly.

Came at 7 on a Friday. Falafel was homemade but not fresh. Sad. Dont like their hummus — a bit of smoked eggplant I think. Lamb special was dry out if warmer. I like my lamb tough and dry but most do not. good salad bar and great pure garlic sauce. Great side salads — tabouleh, kale, quinoa.

Undoubtedly one of the best Mediterranean food joints in the downtown neighborhood. Its a family run no frills establishment. One of the cheapest lunch spots in the area. Food is fresh & delicious. They serve basmati rice which is a big plus. They have 6 salads to choose from or you can make your own salad. The chicken shawarma on rice is my favorite. They have free wifi & they take cards Food: Great Service :Fast Ambiance: Casual Worth the price: Yes

Very average. Relatively a new one in past year, it’s decent and only reason to come here if you have a bigger group. also some patio seating which is good for the summer. Been a hit or miss with freshness. Otherwise, walk up a few blocks to Aladdin, beside Future Shop. Much more experienced, with such high turnover of meat, etc. it’s always fresh.

While this place has one thing going for it: The proper Lebanese garlic sauce. everything else is pretty sub par. Not just sub-par for Lebanese, but in general. For one thing, their chicken is extremely dry and doesn’t taste like it came right off the rotisserie. Their portions for the chicken are also pitiful. There was baarely any meat in my shawarma. Their shawarma is also incorrect and not a traditional one. Proper shawarma is: heaps of chicken, tons of garlic sauce, lettuce, tomato, pickled turnips, pickles and then lightly grilled on a panini to seal in all this deliciousness. I have had both the platter and the donair and noticed that the portions for the stuff you want(meat, pita) is also pretty abysmal. Their rice isn’t very good either and extremely dry. If this place steps up their game they could be a fantastic little Lebanese joint. Unfortunately, right now they aren’t going to last if they keep the sub-par food going. Stop skimping on ingredients and start making proper Lebanese the real way with heaps of food for your clients to enjoy!

This is a new family run eatery on Homer Street. Although it attempts to serve authentic Lebanese food; it’s far from it and very sub par for those seeking the real taste. Vancouver is short of great places for medditeranean food. We started with the lentil soup($ 3.95) which was served out of the warmer. It was a pudding style texture and consistency with a bland taste; reminds me of a institutional cafeteria bowl of mush. We had the minced meat pie«lamajeen» which is nothing reminiscent of Lebanese bakeries. The dough was thick and not evenly cooked and it lacked flavour.($ 3.95) The main course was the Chicken shawarma on rice with hummus and tabouli salad($ 9.95). Excellent portion, the rice and hummus were good. The chicken on the other hand was dry and was obviously held too long or reheated and was not of chicken breast. The tabouli salad was obviously made a long time ago and don’t have any flavour: wilted tomatoes, lack of lemon, etc. All and all a nice attempt at giving a Taste of Mediterranean food to unknowing Vancouverites that is a fail. Service is friendly but does compensate for the lack of taste, substance and idea of the concept of serving good authentic and most importantly tasty Lebanese dishes and bakes goods in Vancouver. #NEXT!

Been there a few times now and so far been very impressed. The chicken I I ordered was extremely tender and juicy, the rice was unique and delicious, and the salad was very fresh. The service was also great. Its right next to my office so I will be back for sure!
