Your typical Commercial Drive feel-​good store but with a touch of European flair, not sure if it’s because I could tell from her first name, nevertheless a very nice lady.
At first, I didn’t think much men’s selection and the usual brand names but a few new ones, all Italian: Blackfin, a super lightweight titanium but at 5 bones, a bit steep even with 15% off. But i’m falling in love with these Police brand, more rectangular and sleek (at least to me lol) and these hinges are super duper flexible.
Amex good too.
She does have a cute little poodle inside.

Karma Optical is the reason why I have started writing Unilocal reviews! I was out for lunch with a friend on the Drive when I realized that I had some free time to do some shopping.
A few weeks earlier I had gone to get my eyes checked, and I learned that I was going to need glasses for the first time. I tried going into a few stores in the South Granville area, but they just didn’t have what I was looking for. One store had all of its frames locked up, so you couldn’t even browse casually. It made me turn around and run the other way.
Getting back to Karma… so there I was on the Drive. I took out my iPhone & found that Karma was just down the road from where I was, and it had a 5-​star rating! I loved the selection of frames. Functional and funky. The owner (whose real last name is Karma), was amazingly helpful. She knew it was going to be my first pair of glasses, and she wanted me to feel good in them.
I love what I got, and I have already sent several friends there. I would love to give Karma more stars!

Fantastic designer frames, very helpful service. I highly recommend this place! For my last frames I stopped in three weeks in a row and tried on a bunch of lenses and took a bunch of photos of myself in different frames then looked at the pictures over the course of the three weeks to get used to myself in the frames (because you know, sometimes the shock of the new may prevent selecting some really great new fashion!).

The owner is amazing. She adjusts your glasses for free, stays after hours if you need her. Highly recommended!

This teeny little Commercial Drive shop specializes in gorgeous designer frames. I love the wide selection, which includes name brands like Gucci, Ferragamo, DKNY, and Miu Miu, and I also highly recommend Karma Optical for its great service.
