False advertising and terribad service. I got an email from IHOP Canada promoting National Pancake Day, with free pancakes from 7am to 7pm. I came into this location, and was told the free pancakes ended at 2pm, and that they weren’t free — $ 3 was required as a «donation». As for the service, my server got me my drink, but then left to ring up a group of people at the cashier. I waited 10 minutes then asked someone else to help — she said that she would find a new server. But she never did. I watched her as she puttered around doing things like seating new people and cleaning up tables. After a few more minutes I just got annoyed and left.

I love this ihop their customer service is amazing and their food is really good! I highly recommend it for your weekend breakfast and brunches. They have great coffee and leave the pot on your table so it’s unlimited and who doesn’t love unlimited coffee. They have four different types of syrup on your table for their delicious waffles and pancakes! Their staff like I said is extremely friendly! Love it!

I had a quick omelette here it was good. I can’t say enough about the great server I had here. I even called the manager over to say how happy I was with the service. She was a newer hire a little mature in age… the best ever! Five stars for her service!

We visited Vancouver from sept 4 – 7 and at here every night. The service was great and friendly and the restaurant was very clean. We loved the kids eat free every night. All of our meals were great and we had zero complaints. We also liked that we were able to choose a table in a back corner so our one year old wouldn’t bother others dining. We will for sure visit again next time :)

ihop does a simple concept and does it very well. It is not fancy but if you want to get a good, stomach filling breakfast this is a place that will satisfy that in bunches. The restaurant is clean and staff are fast and attentive to your needs. The coffee tastes very good too. A steady reliable place to go that won’t strangle your wallet

Came here yesterday for National Pancake Day and was not impressed. The pancake was not cook fully. Very powdery. Ate part of it and had to leave. Definitely not coming back.

The last time I came to IHOP was about 15 years ago. Nothing has changed, which is okay by me. I felt like a ten year old again. Waffles drenched in blueberry slime, hash browns stringy as they ever were. As another reviewer stated, you have to ask for the special menu. We had to ask the hostess and the server before we found someone who wild confirm its existence. I would have probably given 4 stars if it wasn’t for that weasel like move they pulled. So don’t take no for an answer if they tell you there is no special menu. It’s a conspiracy!

ATTENTION, CANADIANS!!! You are being lied to at this location. The staff at this IHOP do not give out the special menu with the good prices. How would you like to eat sausage, eggs and hashbrowns, plus two pancakes with fruit and syrup for under $ 9? YOUCAN. You have to ask for the«specials menu». They won’t give it to you outright, like they should, because they lose tips if you pay too little for your meal. My wife and I are from Washington and when we came over there, we did not get this menu. When we asked for it, the staff reluctantly pulled two of them out from underneath their desk. One of the waiters asked what this menu is, and the other explained that«We don’t give it out, but we have to if someone asks. Only people from the US know about it.» WHAT!!! Guess what, they are REQUIRED to give this menu out with the regular menu, but they don’t do it. On top of that, they are REQUIRED to allow substitutions on this special menu, you should be able to have french fries instead of hashbrowns, but they refused to do it for us. When we ordered from this menu, the service stopped. The waiters were rude to us, and the whole experience was extremely unpleasant. ASKFORTHESPECIALSMENU. It’s there, they can’t refuse it to you. But they won’t give it to you, because they want you to pay more. Some of the combos on the special menu that cost $ 8 – 9 will cost you close to $ 20 if you order them separately from the regular menu, and they’re counting on that. Talk to the manager, I’m not sure if management is in on it, but just take a look around. Everyone gets the regular menu. They have the specials advertised on the side of the building, but you can never order them because they hide the menu from you.

IHOP you dropped the ball ! The worst waffles ever ! I swear they must have been frozen rewarmed in a microwave. What IHOP calls a ‘fruit topping’ is corn syrup mixed with jam. I treated 4 guests and was left red faced for choosing to come here for waffles.

Delicious food, friendly, professional and competent staff, clean and comfortable place. I highly recommend. Perfect for families, groups, etc. Thanks IHOP at 950 Broadway, you guys gave us an excellent option for breakfast, lunch, brunch, etc.

Dear IHOP, Your shredded crispy hash browns create mouth joy. Fluffy short stacks of glory(with corn-free syrup?! yes!) ensure that this wheat belly grows. Your omelettes ensure that the protein hound in me is satisfied. Add to this an unlimited pot of coffee, excellent service from the regular servers(one of whom is most attentive and always makes awesome suggestions — even though she’s vegan and therefore not able to eat any of the menu!), a ½ block proximity from my workplace, and a 15% discount for hospital employees… IHOP, I just can’t quit you.

I ordered the simply-fit whole wheat bluberry pancakes(2) with egg whites. Simple, yes and just right. Side of coffee, but i didnt drink much. Water instead. Great service.

Their breakfast menus, especially the pancakes, are great. Their unlimited pancake deals are especially fantastic: you get unlimited, perfectly cooked and fluffy pancakes they’re known for, plus a few other breakfast items such as sausages, eggs, etc. for around $ 6, $ 7! I was quite impressed with the quality of the food: they didn’t taste cheap and fast-food like Denny’s breakfast items. I wouldn’t recommend IHOP’s dinner menus though. Stick with their breakfast items! The dinner menu I had — one of their signature ones — tasted worse than microwaved frozen food. Among other things, It was unbelievably salty.

I have never been to an IHOP. As a matter of fact, I have been on a diet for the last 6 months, so I have not been eating out much. We came here because they had quite a number of dishes that were under 600 calories. Simple & Fit is what they are called. I saw on the online menu Whole Wheat French Toast combo(with bananas, egg substitute and turkey bacon) 490calories. Sounded good to me. To enter, there are 2 options. The stair case as well as a handicapped ramp. Upon entering we were greeted by a smiling hostess who seated us immediately. The server Heather was quick to offer beverages with a smile. They also arrived lightning fast. Looking at the menu, I did not see the Whole Wheat French Toast Combo. Although it was no longer on the menu, Heather was quick to say it wasn’t a problem. She came back to confirm it was fine, but in order to keep it at the original cost it would come up on the bill as something else, and would that be ok. This was appreciated as she really showed a high level of great customer service. Something I highly value, and is not always seen these days. As per everything else so far, our good came out super fast. It was good, and we left feeling satisfied and thrilled with the quick, friendly and helpful customer service. Brunch for 2 — 27 $ plus 7 $ tip. Thanks Heather !

Sometimes, you just need a little IHOP in your life. I was impressed at how clean and un-divey this location was, compared to where I’ve been in the U.S. I had a birthday email coupon so my meal was like $ 1? Or something ridiculously cheap like that. Good coffee!

I normally have a witty one-liner to start my review. However, I’ve just quit coffee. So my creative side is a bit«out the window» for the time being. I apologize.lol. I’ve read the previous reviews and can honestly say I have had different experiences than them. I have been to this new IHOP three times. Mind you, they have all been for lunch or dinner so I cannot speak about the breakfast crowd or how the staff handle that situation. Service: Each time we were fortunate to be served by a really nice guy named Paul. If you get him, you are in luck. He is one of the best people in the customer service industry. Always happy and never forgets anything! Now I understand that IHOP prides themselves on happy staff. And at times I’ve wondered if they have been drugged. But Paul is genuinely a happy person. It isn’t forced and it just makes you want to be around him. Food: The food is IHOP food. Its not fast food and its not Smitty’s or a slightly better, higher up restaurant. But its decent especially for the price. I have heard someone say that their food was slightly burnt. But honestly, it happens. In all restaurants. I once paid $ 100 for an appetizer and they managed to mess it it. What do you do in this extremely complex situation… You ask them to take it back and redo it… with the biggest smile possible. If you ask rudely, well I always wonder what else they put on your food. The goal is, be happy even when things don’t go your way because that big smile will be the glue that helps to fix a situation. That’s just my opinion. Parking: It is an issue. Four dollars is insane. I haven’t had any line-up issues at IHOP but as I’ve said before, I don’t eat breakfast there. So $ 4 parking is pretty bad. IHOP should have a free parking somewhere. To me… that should be mandatory to have for certain restaurants. The parking is why I haven’t given it 5⁄5 stars. Besides that, the customer service has been great for me! The food is what I expect and portion sizes are great! This isn’t a fancy restaurant and in other ways its not even Denny’s. But its good food, great customer service(thanks Paul) and just a great Dinner experience. Joshua
