Have already been here twice during our Vancouver visit and will probably go back before we leave! Such great food. On our first visit I had the Cottage Pie and my girlfriend had the Vegetarian burger. The cottage pie was excellent, just like nana used to make. And the house tomato relish on top was a great touch. My girlfriends vege burger was huge, she struggled to finish it, and said it was the best she has ever had. The fries were really yummy too. On our second visit I had the steak frites and she had the duck pizza. Steak was cooked perfectly, loved the sauce too. Again, great fries. The pizza was a thin crust with really fresh ingredients, she cleaned her plate up again! I had cider both times, she tried a few of the beers(she asked them to get some Quebec beers on the menu though: P). Service is friendly, the restaurant is really nice with a good ambiance, and prices are quite good. All in all, this is our best find in Vancouver so far, and can’t wait to return.

Every year, I head to BC to visit friends and eat their food. Generally I hit up new spots each time I go. I stayed at a hotel not far from Bogart’s and wandered in one day during happy hour. FATTUGIPA($ 4): Beer thirty began with this gem from Driftwood Brewery. Enjoyed every sip/gulp of it – to the point where I hit up BC Liquor Stores for three 22 oz bottles not long after. It’s got a 95 on BeerAdvocate and 99 on RateBeer for a reason(as of 12/14/2015). Very balanced IPA and tasty. DUCKCONFITFLATBREADPIZZA($ 8): Holy balls. The panda had to try this one for science. Moist, succulent duck with gruyère, mushrooms, arugula, and a sweet port reduction. Slight crunch in the flatbread, richness of the duck, reduction was on point. Serving size is anywhere from a decent appetizer to a small entrée in my book. Good service on my visit. I came in when there was virtually no one else there, so I’m not sure how busy this place gets at peak feeding time. Still, a nice place to go in downtown Vancouver.

This is not a stand-alone bar, it’s the Hampton Inn’s bar. Not bad for a hotel bar, but FYI.

So we are at a crossroads here at the end of Robson and Beatty. You can stand here and look around and think where should I go? I have a concert, game, or monster truck rally to watch in one hour and I’m starving, but where will I eat? The stadium is not an option as I might choke on processed meat wrapped in a bleached white flour glutton bomb. Well I actually live at this crossroad. If I had to choose I would go to Bogarts. It is so unassuming, yet I have never been disappointed. I have heard rumors that the owners also were involved with Bin 941⁄942. I’m not sure if this is true. However the food had always been pretty dam good for hotel restaurant. Anyway give it a try. The staff are amazing.

Is it sad that all I really wanted was mac & cheese(without the bacon)? Well, it hit the spot. The husband ordered the meatloaf and while it was tasty, it was missing something for him. It was a good experience though, nice patio and good service.

Stopped in before a concert, because of the reviews on Unilocal. We were just going to have a drink, but it was happy hour, $ 8.00 pizza, and ½ price beers! Wow, we were awed, by the crab cakes, best we’ve ever had! Then on to Duck confit pizza, and Italian sausage pizza. Both were bigg enough for two, an the Duck confit was amazing! We shared a couple of Chocolate lava cakes, that were made fresh, and they were to die for! Service was also fantastic! We will be back!

I frequent Bogarts for their fantastic selection of beer and their cheap pricing during happy hours. The chef, Pascal, clearly cares about the menu and gets excited about all the new items that he adds * every time I have eaten here, he has come out to make sure everything was perfect and to talk about his new items and what he thinks I’ll like based on my previous choices. The serving staff are excellent, I never have to wait for service and they always come by smiling and making sure everything is perfect. They all seem to really like working there. I have never had a bad experience at Bogarts, try the dukes cider.

This restaurant is within easy walking distance to the QE theatre and both stadiums. 2 of us went here not knowing entirely what to expect but hoping for the best because of the Unilocal reviews. We were not disappointed. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was excellent. Good IPA beer and house wine. Scallops appetizer(wow for the taste but also the presentation) and Molten Cake dessert(quality of chocolate worth writing home about). There are a few TVs and the atmosphere is casual. Significantly better service and food than chain restaurants such as Milestones, Boathouse, Moxies. The server was quirky and confident and most importantly was not pretending to try and have a personal relationship with us for the duration of the meal. Thank you!

Ok, trivia question… who makes their cutlery? Well made, heavy weight, and especially well balanced. Ok, on to the food. Had the shepherd’s pie which I haven’t had since the Boy Scouts. Really really good, made with lamb. Go, too, for the good selection of craft beers. Liked their IPA. Convenient to the stadium and the Hampton Inn. Answer: n

Compared to Hawksworth or L’Abbatoir, this place is not that spectacular. But the reason that I gave it 5⁄5 is because it exceeded my expectation *so* much, I was in for an unprepared joy ride. First of all, don’t be fooled by «small plates» and«pizza». The small plates are the equivalent of entries in most places. And the flat bread pizza are amazing. Definitely a great place to bring friends on a night out!

WOW! We had a living social deal here, and we were not disappointed. We had the crab cakes, Caesar salad, and the Italian sausage pizza. The crab cakes were small, but well cooked. They came with a several sauces drizzled on the plate. The green liquid was hard to tell what it might be, the red liquid was spicy, and the aoili balanced everything out. Would definitely order again. The cedar salad was typical(we’re trying to get more greens in out diets), but fresh and delicious. Lastly, we ordered the Italian sausage pizza with mozzarella, as my boyfriend doesn’t really like goat cheese(I know… heart breaker!) It was absolutely delicious. They use a mix of eggplant, zucchini, onion, and other veggies, and their sausage is not link sausage which I prefer on pizza. We finished with the molten lava cake that was also great! Their ice cream was a little crystallized, but didn’t bring down the meal. Reasonably priced for great good!

Food is amazing, night bar tending staff was excellent. Very friendly, sociable and conversational. Ross is on point with his service and attitude towards the customers, very informative of the area and sights to visit.

We came here after purchasing a coupon from the social shopper. The restaurant has good ambience and the waitresses were friendly. We had the bogarts salad and the burger. We were contented with our food. It is definitely a perfect place for those waiting to catch a game or concert, or for a quick dinner. Worth the try!

I can only speak for my recent experience. I had a Social Shopper deal and made a reservation, as the voucher stated I was required to do. I was running 15 minutes late and I called the restaurant and informed them and the hostess told me «no problem I’ll have a table for you. We arrived and the restaurant was completely full and she had given away our table. Then when we asked if we could have the next available table she checked with her manager and they said«no, sorry». So don’t count on your reservation being honored here, or for good customer service.

Have visited Bogarts a few times this summer and I enjoyed the beet salad on the patio. Bogarts delivers consistently good food and experience. Tonight I enjoyed the Bogarts Salad. The only downside is more people need to discover this place so there’s more energy in the vibe. The restaurant is well appointed and warm on a cold November evening. We’ll keep coming back.

Very nice and attentive staff. We went with our kids. Pizza was good. Great fries and really good mussels! I have eaten mussels many times but those were some of the best I ever had. Good beer and a very good gin-gin mule on top.

Bogart’s bridges the gap(chasm) between pub fare and fine dining. With a glance at the menu you would think that this is pretty standard, burgers, pizza, etc. When the food arrives at your table you wonder«where am I?» It is presented beautifully and then you realize that even a burger can be a piece of art. The food tastes as good as it looks and in our five times of eating there I have never been disappointed. There is some special talent in the kitchen of Bogart’s, next time you’re in Yaletown discover it!

Very friendly staff and good food, try the wings and flat bread pizzas… we had the margarita with fresh basil, good eats… they have a decent beer selection too. We were here from LA for a few days staying at the Hampton inn connected to Bogarts, we waited until our last night here to give this place a try and were pleasantly surprised.

I have now been to Bogarts 3 times, always before Whitecaps games. On the positive side, the food is really good and reasonable, the beer is craft and local, and the staff are very friendly. The negative is that the service is slow and they forget about you. That may be a product of the fact that it is unusually busy for the location on game days and they aren’t ready for it. It may also be because it is a relatively new place and they haven’t worked out all the kinks yet. I’m prepared to give the benefit of the doubt and I will try again. I want to love this place but it’s only a like at this point.

New in the neighborhood looking fresh compared to the previous restaurant called Zachary… Just in time for summer time on Robson St it’s well located. The interior is well decorated and the service is top notch! The food is also fresh and delicious, great Italian food. The reason why I don’t give a 5 stars review is… Simply because when you are sitting at the stool bar close to the window, the branding of the restaurant covered the window and also the view on Robson St and Beatty St with the BC Place just at the corner. I recommended and I will come back with some friend!
