I needed a case for my new cell phone and was at the Yonge/Eg Centre this afternoon so popped into the Source. As I was looking at the cases trying to figure out the right one, one of the sales reps came over. He was really unfriendly and I felt like I was an imposition. I paid for the case and then wandered to check out a mouse. I found one and took it to another sales rep to pay for it. He wasn’t friendly either. I paid with VISA and as it was going through, the rep picked up his phone and checked for emails. Me: Are you checking your emails while you’re serving me? Him: I was waiting for your receipt to print out. Really?! Something was THAT important that he couldn’t wait for the sale to finish before he checked his phone?! Really bad customer service at this store. The store and manager should be embarrassed and should train their staff better.
