Love the sweet and savoury treats here! My favourite is the spinach and cheese burek and poppyseed strudel which goes great with my Starbucks coffee nearby. They have many freshly baked breads and sweet pastries as well as a grocery area.

I’ve been dropping into this place for the last 4 years and it’s become one of my favourite places in the Junction. It’s got a wide variety of grocery store items, chocolates, meats, jams and jars filled with various European specialities but I go right into their bakery for my favourite treats: various spinach and cheese type croissants and poppy seed rolls. They have amazing prices, friendly counter staff and the quality in the baked items is consistently good.

Une excellente boulangerie avec des tartes aux fruits, des ‘tartes’ à la viande hachée(meat pie), des tartes aux épinards, des pâtisseries et plus encore ! Les prix y sont très abordables et le quartier sympathique.

I stop in here from time to time for sliced deli meat, bread, and pastries. There has never been a time when it was not reasonably priced and delicious. Some of the great things about this place include… 1. It has a well-stocked variety of choices. You could stop in here for breakfast, lunch, or an early dinner. 2. They have fresh meats that they will slice for you. They will make a sandwich while you wait. 3. You can get a whole fruit pie here for around 5 $!! 4. They will slice bread for you on this cool slicer that sits by the window. 5. The cinnamon rolls are amazing!!! 6. Free smells! 7. And even though I don’t love olives, they have a nice olive bar.

If you’re heading to the No Frills around the corner, please stop here first. They have the best bread, salami, pastries, and everything that will make you think your on a holiday to the Mediterranean.

This place is incredible! I was blown away by their prices, and that was before the«happy hour» they have really regularly! I tried the spinach and ricotta croissant, the broccoli and cheese croissant, a chocolate croissant, and a poppyseed danish, and also picked up some muslix bread to take home. Everything was fantastic! The staff are friendly and attentive and I can’t wait to go back and try some of their other baked goods. What a find!

I haven’t gotten up the courage to ask what nationality they are — I think Croatian. They have very good and very reasonable bread, with some unusual Balkan bread items. Not a huge selection and its better to go early, but a nice place to stop if you are also hitting the No Frills. As the previous reviewer mentioned, they also have a deli at same location.

I’ve gone here before and had a slice of their spinach and cheese burek– a thick pastry with different ingredients, usually meat, cheese inbetween– which was really a good cheap lunch($ 2.75 a slice). But I especially recommend the deli section, which sells some cured meats. I also love that they have all kinds of weird juices(SOMUCHSUGAR in them) and although I do not and never will(I’ve TRIED, oh how I have tried) like olives, just so you know, they have every kind you could possibly want. Ew. Olives.
