I actually ordered from this shop on Etsy and then was able to visit in person when I was in Toronto for work last month. Such a treat! The shop owner was so friendly and the selection of Wildwood products was great! I came back with a huge haul of mists and oils that I’m using every day. Also, the shop has great style and has a really cool eclectic mix of products. Can’t wait to go back!(Visit the bakeshop next door after you go for some treats)

Rowan is an amazing store that I couldn’t be happier to have found. They have a great mix of products that is always changing to keep you coming back. The owner of the store was incredibly welcoming and very helpful with any and all questions. I took a soap making workshop and it was a great way to spend an afternoon. It was interesting and a lot of fun and I’m looking forward to taking more workshops in the future

Thank you Dominique and Courtney, I had a great time learning how to crochet in your Saturday class! I’ve taken similar classes in Toronto and the value for your money really can’t be compared. Such a warm environment and Dominique really goes out of her way to make you feel at home with with tea and snacks. I left with a beautiful infinity scarf. The best part was taking a look around the shop after, what a unique store full of one of a kind gems! My favourite purchase is by far the Wildwood IDunn regenerating facial Elixir. It has already made my skin feel softer and taken care of some dry spots. I highly recommend it!

Don’t take a class here unless you can accurately predict the future! I got a terrible case of food poisoning the day before I was supposed to take a class here. I emailed the morning before the class letting them know, and asking if I could join a future class instead. Dominique let me know in no uncertain terms that there would be no refund or class credit, and then«helpfully» attached information on signing up for future classes, as if I were going to toss more money down that hole. Don’t let appearances fool you — this place is all about the money when it gets down to it.

Rowan Homespun Market is a great antique shop and apothecary tucked away in the Toronto Beaches. The store is definitely bigger inside that the exterior would lead to believe. The store owner, Dominique, is a great hostess and will answer any questions you have about her products with enthusiasm. I like how there is always a fresh cycle of new items each time I visit. Their in-house Wildwood natural skin care product line is also of excellent quality, and worth the price. I’m also love the fact that they carry the local Coffeecology collection of fresh coffee beans. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area!

I haven’t been to many stores that are like Rowan Homespun Market. With workshops available and unique antiques as well as personal care products, this stores is a goldmine for anyone interested in unique one-of-a-kind items and local, small-batch products supporting local brands. The owner of the store, Dominique, is very sweet and is willing to help with whatever questions you may have about the store. I like to frequent the store as there are new items being added as well as a steady batch of homebrewed kombucha that’s available in different flavours every week! If you’re in the area, don’t feel shy! This cute little shop is a great place to stop in and browse.
