This place has the best prices for produce(and it wasn’t even on sale). Organic produce is like the price of the conventional version on your average grocery store. I bought two FULL bags of apples(the good ones — none of that shiny plastic crap), two bags of organic celery, and organic carrots for $ 13.05 with tax. It’s too bad I’m never in the area, but if I ever will be, I will be sure to pick something up and carry those groceries across town from here to vaughan. I couldn’t buy more than I could carry, but they had organic kale and other things for fantastic pries as well. They only take cash.

Great spot. Essential for locals looking for cheap and good produce. Good prices on most veggies and fruits. Good selection for the size of the place. High turnover of product means its fairly fresh. Nice, honest people who work there. A few organic options, but not many. Price is emphasized more than locality or sustainability. Still, a crucial part of food shopping on this end of the Danforth. Cash only.
