I was visiting Canada and came across a brochure for Phonebox at the visitor center. They had a sim card available and I picked it up for my phone. They had several affordable plan options — text, talk, data — and different lengths — day, week, month. I ended up having some difficulty with the automatic setup with my device, but they responded quickly and refunded my money for the days that had technical difficulties. I would highly recommend them for anyone visiting Canada.

I rented out an iphone 4, earphone, USB cable, and the outlet for the usb. They wouldn’t accept my earphone after 2 years of use because the plastic part has less than 1 mm cut that doesn’t affect the performance of the earphone at all. If you are renting a earphone and plan to use the earphone for more than 2 days, just consider buying it and don’t expect your money back.
However, the people there were nice and friendly.
