I am impressed with this establishment and the way they handle things with their customers. Even when there’s a hiccup in the service they acknowledge it and know how to make it up to their customers. Would highly recommend.

This company came up when I searched 1 hour dry cleaner in Toronto. When I called I was hung up on the first time. The second time the guy rushed me through, and I ended up calling him back to get the price estimate. I just wanted one dress done, and I was giving them 4 hours instead of just one. So I walked 15 min in high heels to go hand it over, and after estimating my total between $ 15-$ 23, I was handed a bill for $ 39.95. They told me it was a high price because my dress is formal. OFCOURSEITIS!!! Why else would I be having it dry cleaned? To make matters worse it’s really not a big dress at all. It doesn’t even reach my knees! So in the end I appreciate that this company is good to the environment, but their customer service needs some serious SERIOUS work! Annnnd there is no way I’m ever paying that much for one garment of clothing to be cleaned. This company has lost my business and my respect.

Love the concept and don’t mind paying the extra price to reduce chemical use from dry cleaning. I brought them a new Burberry dress shirt and when I returned to pick it up the shirt had a hole in it above the chest pocket. The lady said it must have been there before. The funny thing is it was obvious someone cut the inside of the hole with scissors to clean it up. I can only assume it was ripped in one of their machines and probably the person who did cleaned up the damage. I don’t go there any more as a result of this incident & I’m still upset. The shirt was fine when I dropped it off as I wore it to the office the previous day.

I had a GroupClick(now Dealfind) coupon that I bought last summer and I finally had collected enough items to use on. I usually avoid dry cleaning because it can quickly get expensive and requires a lot of effort to drop off and pick items up, but unfortunately when you have a suit, spot cleaning just doesn’t cut it sometimes. They do pick-up and drop off of items so you don’t have to bring them in yourself, though though I wasn’t able to arrange a pick-up, the owner has contacted me to indicate that this was an anomaly. His elderly father, who’s english isn’t great answered the phone when I happened to call and there was a miscommunication about the pick-up time. I ended up dropping my stuff off, which is fine but a big part of the appeal of the Eco Cleaners for me was the delivery service, since I don’t live near Bayview. My Theory suit came back well cleaned and the stitching on the interior of another suit jacket was repaired nicely. The coats look great. I think I paid about $ 70 for 3 winter coats, 1 suit and 2 jackets and the stitching repair after the $ 60 discount was applied and delivery. I thought this wasn’t shabby. My local drycleaning place, Boyd’s, charged me $ 78 last year to clean just 2 of my winter coats with perc, so based on that I feel like I got a good deal. The cleaning method here is liquid sand, no toxic chemicals. I would use them again.

My quest for eco dry-cleaners had ended couple of years ago. After much disdain for crispy feel of starch and all the chemicals of conventional dry cleaners this is such a breath of fresh air. I love the smell and feel of the clothes coming out of this place. It’s not in my neighbourhood, so it’s a destination for my dry-cleaning needs, but it’s totally worth the trip. They also pick-up and deliver, I just usually don’t have enough volume. The staff people are super nice, and when I sent a link to reusable dry-cleaning bags( ) to them, the owner personally responded and promised to try these out. I should follow up with him to see what the outcome was. While we’re on this eco topic — check out this movie, it’s fun and interesting:
