David has been my stylist since 2007 and I LOVE him. I won’t let anyone else touch my hair.
The salon itself is intimate, elegant, yet has a funky laid back style. So you feel cool, but never intimidated.
Both David and his wife Cynthia (I love that it’s a team effort) are wonderful at what they do. I honestly did not know that I had great hair until David uncovered it. My styles last so long — I won’t say how long because I’m sure David & Cynthia would have me come in more often!
My advice? Go in with an open mind. David is an expert and, if you can trust him and simply sit back while he works his magic, you won’t regret it.
Make sure you ask him about his days at the King Eddy where he cut hair for famous dignitaries and celebs like the gorgeous Farah Fawcett (who had Hollywood’s best hair ever.)
While this is no discount 20 minute cut, his fees are reasonable given his level of skill. No more than I’d pay for a mid-​level stylist in Yorkville and in this case, you’re getting the best in the city.
I can’t help but feel that David’s salon is one of Toronto’s best kept secrets. If you’re having a bad hair day, you need to call him NOW.
