Roots – Eglinton Power Ctr Outlet

Thanks to the helpful staff here, my sister in another city will have her sweater for Christmas.

With our recent trip to Toronto, we wanted to stock up on some Canadian souvenirs to bring home to family and friends. After checking out the Roots start at Eaton Centre, we thought we’d look up the closest outlet and find some good deals there.
Roots Outlet in Eglinton Town Centre is pretty decent sized. Lots of variety for men, women, and children. I love shopping for winter clothes… i absolutely love fleece! I found a great deal for a zip up fleece with a fuzzy inner layer. The sleeves are also nice and long! Maybe there’s something with Canadian clothing and long sleeves because I can never find apparel in the states with sleeves long enough for my arms!
There were some good deals there. 25% off for sweaters, 2/​$ 24 tshirts, etc. Would be a good place to hit up for gifts instead of the B&M stores which sell just ONE tshirt for $ 24 or more. Although some of the nicer styles may not be found at stores, I find that it had just what I needed.
They also give cute reusable green bags to hold your clothes after your purchase. We wanted another one to give as a gift with our item, but they charge $ 0.75! I guess it’s not that much, but considering they would have given it to us if we had split our $ 150 purchase into two transactions, I don’t see what the big deal was giving us another bag. The cashier was also pretty determined to find the tag on one of our shirts when he could have just given it to us at a similar price to something else on the shelf. Aside from this, I’d definitely try to find more Roots Outlets in my future visits to Canada!
