This place is fun for adults and children! I can see why it’s popular for children’s birthday parties. I would celebrate my birthday here! If you are into crafts and painting, you will enjoy it. When you walk in there’s a wall with ceramics ready to paint. They are organized by type; kitchen, Disney, kids and more. The kitchen selection includes mugs, soup bowls, and spoon rests. I like all the characters they have including Peanuts, Hello Kitty, Marvel Superheroes, and even Monsters from Monsters Inc. They have lots of animals to paint. The price on the bottom of the ceramic includes everything so there’s no extra cost for studio fee, or glazing. My friend and I picked our items and the woman working washed them for us. She set up with table with paper towel, water, and brushes. There’s a selection of paints to choose from, and there are tiles showing the difference between 1 or 3 coats of paint. There are pencils, few stamps and stencils to use too. We went around 1PM on a Sunday and were the only ones there. But in the next few hours about 4 other groups came in to paint. The woman working was kind to replace our water throughout our time and also check to see how we were doing. I liked how I didn’t feel rushed during our time. After we went to pay and give our contact information as it would be available for pick up in a week. I really enjoyed our time at Color Me Mine. I would make a suggestion that they have idea books as that could help people with designs. The price is also a little high as most pieces I saw were around the $ 30 – 35 range(the Hello Kitty I painted was $ 34 and my friend’s soup bowl was $ 32). Great place for a party, date, or family time!
