Bedford Sackville Greenway Connector Trail

Walk here all the time. Very nice trail along the Sackville river. Park down by Arby’s or the sports field and the walk to Old Sackville road is about 2.5 KMs one way. Trail is in excellent shape and mostly level.

Providing a pretty, scenic place to walk or bike, and a convenient path for travel between Bedford and Lower Sackville, this trail has been open since 2006. As long as the sounds of the nearby rifle range don’t bother you, this is a very good place to get some exercise, or simply go for a leisurely stroll and enjoy the sounds of the birds in the trees and the peaceful flow of the Sackville river, which runs adjacent to a good part of the trail. In the Fall, this area is an especially beautiful place to admire the colors of the leaves and enjoy the crackle beneath your feet of those that have fallen from the trees.
