Went there due to it being on close to my accommodation. The pizza didn’t look great on display but I was starving so I went ahead and got the pepperoni. It wasn’t even hot after it was put in the over for a short time and tasted like it had been sitting there for a while. You’ll find better pizza in Ottawa elsewhere.

The man behind the counter was nice, but that was where the good attributes end. Maybe because I went during a slow time, but my slice was terrible. Went there to grab a quick snack, and wished I hadn’t. My slice was slightly burnt.
Inside is a typical downtown pizza joint, few chairs and a counter. Enough space for maybe 5 people to eat.

Had a late night pizza slice here. Mr. Mozzarella knows to stay open late when situated on York Street and selling carbs!
Everyone was really nice and there are a few seats if you wanna stay. Classic, harsh fluorescent light though. Also, expect some leers if you’re a females coming in the later hours. You pick your pizza slice, they warm it for you and then put it in a brown paper bag like a little lunch box.
I wasn’t a fan of the pizza. Maybe it’s a better scenario during the day with a higher turnover but the sauce seemed dried out. They had quite the selection. I don’t think I’d return unless I was really in a pinch and/​or friends dragged me here. I do apologize, Mr. Mozzarella.

Mr. Mozzarella has really expanded their menu since I first heard about them. They have wings, sandwiches, Italian dishes, and a huge selection of fried finger food and munchies that you would usually find on menus at pubs. I’ve fallen victim to their deep-​fried pickles, myself. I mean, who can resist that crunchy, salty, juicy goodness? I especially love that they’re also peanut free, which eases any cross-​contamination concerns of those with serious nut allergies, like my cousin.
Their signature pizzas are, naturally, what they’re most known for. The best part is that some of their pizzas are a little. wacky?, if you will. For example, some people may find the shawarma pizza or poutine pizza unique, but the Pizza Ravioli is my favorite. Different, but delicious!
