Good wings… friendly staff… kids loved playing darts, i have since had to get a dartboard at home

They have NFL SUNDAY TICKET!!! Yay!
This place has live bands (and good ones) every Saturday night and NO COVER CHARGE. They also have their house band every Wednesday night (jam night)
The staff are always friendly and the prices are fair. The food is great and the portions are HUGE.
The place is always very clean.
2 pool tables and golf video game! (I love it)

Absolutely terrible. Closet bar to where I live, but I’d rather pay for a taxi to any other bar in Oakville. Poor beer selection, no character to the décor, and they don’t take debit. Get it together, 6^th line.

It’s a great bar! Since this bar used to be the only one I lived close to (I happened to live off of sixth line for several years), I have been a regular many times.
The food is delicious, especially the appetizers and the pizza. I highly recommend the cheese pizza, the BBQ wings or the deep fried pickles. The food came out very quick (ticket time was less than fifteen minutes) for my wife and I.
SLP has lots to offer to keep you occupied, including darts, flatscreen TV, pool, golf arcade games and video poker. I really love the fact that they have live bands on Fridays, and «Jam Sessions» on Saturday nights. I think the business owner really thought about doing something unique to set SLP apart from the competition, so they wouldn’t be «generic sports bar number 45 629 842 045». They choose some really great bands to put on the stage for gigs. I highly recommend coming in on a Friday.
Waitresses and bar staff are hit and miss. Some of them really care about the business and are very attentive, while others seem to just want to have a place for their friends to hang out at. There have been times where I’ve had to actively flag someone down just to get another bottle of Smirnoff Ice on a quiet day. Service is decent, but could definitely use some work.
THE GOOD
— Fantastic food!
— Great selection of cocktails and shots.
— The live entertainment makes for a good time.
— Lots to do at the bar.
— Free parking permits for those who’ve had too much to drink.
THE BAD
–The domestic beer menu is a little small, with only Molsen and Coors available to order (to my recollection, that is… the menu might be bigger now).
— The waitresses are hit and miss in terms of the quality of service.
— Their sound system is a bit outdated.
— Loud atmosphere; kids are occasionally brought into the bar, which shouldn’t happen.
THE UGLY
— The bar usually turns out a much older crowd, typically late thirties/​early forties. I found it uncomfortable to be hanging around such an old crowd, as I’m a young adult myself.
— Cash only; no debit or credit is accepted. You have to use the ATM in the front, which charges three frickin’ dollars for withdrawal. PLEASE get a debit/​credit machine!
Taking the good with the bad, I think SLP deserves four stars. It’s a good bar in all of the areas that matter, and I’ve never had a truly «bad» experience. There are many things for the employees to work on, however.

A cute little neighborhood pub, 6^th Line offers a cozy atmosphere to play pool, darts, put tunes on the jukebox or to catch a local band. They have a number of big screen TVs to catch any sporting event on, a pretty decent menu of edibles, and a full bar with drink specials.
I was told that this bar is new and far superior to the one that used to stand in it’s place but I never visited the original. I like this one though. :)
