Do you like food coloring, bad oils and perservatives? I don’t. The baked goods look good, too good and that’s all thanks to the latter. Bars and squares — all made with lots of sugar, color and bad oils. Rice crispie squares with colored marshmallows, carrot cake with no walnuts, pineapple, barely there carrots or coconut have red dye, tons of oil and extra sugars to make you shake. Not a fan of the baked goods.1 star Where can one find a place that uses butter anymore? Or at least anything but shortening/​lard?

I’ll be honest… Coffee is coffee! Coffee shop is a coffee shop! But man, when one of those unexpected moments hit you and you really have to find a washroom, beans is THE place to go!

F’n love this place.
Besides the Bean Around the World Dark Roast being amazing, its always super fresh, great crema on my americano/espresso’s and clean shots, no grinds left in the mug.
On top of this, the staff is amazing. They are so friendly and it adds to the great, cozy atmosphere.
Along with that! it makes everyone that comes in happy and stoked on the day!
P.S food is good, price is good and has WIFI!

I was in the neighbourhood and stopped by to grab a pick me up. I had a latte that was quite creamy. Coffee was great and the atmosphere inside was cozy and tranquil. The tables outside are right in the sun. A perfect patio. Too bad there are so many smokers who seem to occupy these seats every time I go (to be fair, that is about once every 2 months). If I did live around here, I would frequent this place for sure.

Listen folks, if you want great coffee and incredible people, go here. Central Lonsdale. I make my way from Deep Cove to get their coffee, unfortunately I have to drive right past the Parkgate Bean, as their owners seem to have their heads up their butts. Not here though! You get treated right, and with respect. Can’t say enough about the people.
Aside from that the way they run their business is head and shoulders above most (especially the parkgate bean). They honour refills, if you bring back your cup all day! They always have art on the walls and the ambience is just right. Music on Sundays.
I’m finally satisfied with the whole package in a coffee house. Thanks guys.

good London Fog. new management has made improvements. place looks better and service is better too
I stopped going for a while because of a bad incident with a not so professional employee. I got over it though and gave it another chance. I’m glad I did because in that time that I was «away» they must have made significant improvements. Service was better and the vibe was better overall. Clearly others are noticing too because the place is packed anytime I go there. So I’m happy I went back.
I also like that they have healthy food choices for lunch or treats to accompany your hot beverage.
Not cheap but I’d rather spend a little extra on a local business and support them.

The atmosphere isn’t quite as cozy as I would like, if one were to spend a couple hours here… but it’s a *coffee* place and the coffee is DELICIOUS!

Once again, we have chosen a place for it’s prime outdoor seating. We undressed the table of it’s empty cups and stir sticks and I went in passed another outside table that has been used as a garbage bin. The place is not unclean, it’s just being neglected by the two «chatty cathys» at the counter. Nice girls, just too busy to deal with customers and their messes I guess.
I ordered a couple of bevvies after being invited to join their current conversation for a few minutes. I gave them some time to get the drinks and went outside. Minutes later I checked back, one drink done, okay, I’ll check back… jeez, good thing I didn’t have to get back to work or anything.
This is a nice little shop, with a fireplace in it. There is wireless and some people are tap-​tapping away, one in a corner the other in the window.
The drinks were less than satisfying unfortunately but the table in the sun was nice.
