I was very happy with this place. I was nervous with the reviews in Unilocal but my omelet was great and our waitress was friendly. Very busy on weekends.

I wasn’t expecting much and so I was surprised to be underwhelmed here. We missed ordering breakfast, which although standard looked good on all the tables around us. Our reuben was not good, burgers were fine and the«western» omelet sandwich was fine but incredibly loaded with onions. Service was quick and then absent, and the coffee was adequate.

We wanted a quick cheap breakfast at the end of our holiday in Niagara — this seemed like the place. We were very satisfied. The Stagecoach is, point blank, a diner. So you should expect diner food. Breakfast wasn’t fancy but it was practical and cheap. Their lunch options look the same. It’s the type of food you can expect from any small town diner — simple and satisfying. Service was great — friendly and patient when we took a bit long to decide what we wanted. Overall, I would come here again for a quick, cheap meal in what can be an expensive town.

For a town that is filled with restaurants that are far too expensive — it’s nice to find a normal diner. Eggs /bacon /pancakes and French toast. They have it. Good place if you’re with kids. I recommend it. Just on the main drag of NOTL.

Come one, come all! If you’re one of those people who’ve recently lost all taste due to a debilitating taste bud disease, or you’ve just sold your pride in a back alley for just enough money to buy some ‘food’, but not enough for anything good. This is your place! You will revel in the bland, freezer bag tasteless fare that is offered here. Rubbery, flavourless eggs? Yup they’ve got em! No name brand, straight from the freezer section ‘home fries’? You bet! Oh man, the omelettes… They have something they call omelettes! This place has a myriad of underwhelming dishes that will leave you with the feeling: «yup… I just ate there». Coffee’s good though… There’s got to be better places to eat here in the Niagara area. I recommend you go find them.

Late lunch date with my girls after a long ride bicycling. Great family restaurant. It serves an ‘ok’ food with decent price. Staff are friendly.

Gord and I had breakfast Sunday morning at the Stagecoach, which was a block from our hotel. It was a busy spot. We both ordered the Cook’s Favourite. Gord got his with bacon. I got mine with ham. It was good and we both cleaned off our plates!

On the way home after a lovely weekend, our group was on the search for a basic breakfast. Eggs, toast, bacon, sausage and bottomless coffee. That’s it, that’s all. We definitely found that here at the Stagecoach. I ordered the hungryman/farmers(you know the kind) breakfast which came with choice of meat, 2 eggs, and 3 pancakes. A little different from what I’m used to with the emphasis being on pancakes and toast as opposed to a protein platter like I’m accustomed to… definitely a cost saving dish — potatoes weren’t included. My one complaint had to be with the sausage. I ordered this as an extra side to my breakfast. One of my buddies had the sausage straight up and they were drenched in oil, overly deepfried to the point that when he squeezed it oil dripped from the meat. Knowing this can be an issue I always order my sausage butterflied where they’re deep fried as per normal but cut in half and cooked on a flat top to avoid the oil. The cooking process was done correctly but too much so, my sausages were either OVER cooked OR cooked on a dirty flat top — they came back black and charred. Overall an OK breakfast, and it came on local recommendations. Would seek out other options first in future BUT would return again if in the area.

On our way back from a weekend in the falls we were looking for something family friendly and not too expensive. We found Stagecoach from reviews on Unilocal and gave it a try. The restaurant is clean, very friendly staff and the food was good family diner type fare. I had the cheeseburger platter and my husband had the western platter. Both came with a very generous serving of fries and coleslaw. For the 4 of us, including ice cream, our bill came to $ 50 which is quite reasonable for what we got! We’d come again for sure!
