Papa Dave’s Pizza

Ordered pizza from this place and he made the wrong pizza (we wanted it with white sauce and made it with red sauce). When I called to tell him it was the wrong pizza he said he forgot, and I asked if he would give us the right pizza. He said no he would not and was very rude about it!!! He basically told us he doesn’t care that he screwed up and doesn’t want to fix it. Told him we would never order from him, he said okay! Guess he doesn’t want business!

Our family has lived 2 blocks from this pizza place for 19 years. they have moved from 100 metres away up the street to take advantage of the secondary school. but 7 – 11 came and ruined it again!!.greed doesn’t pay. I have had one pizza and one lasagna over 19 years. just gross and over priced. make sure you look at all the neon signs they took from the big building to to this little pizza place. the lady is RUDE and arrogant. stick to Pizza Hut or VIva sue pizza. VIVA=yummy??papa Dave’s is basiclly ingredients from Real Wholesale club on kings way. yuk

I really need to counter the negative review
This is a small family business and their pizza is great. Btw most delivery places do not have debit at the door and if you want to pay by debit order and pay online. Sheesh someone was having a bad day when they wrote their review

We came here after we just moved into the neighborhood– We ordered 2 pizza’s and ate outside the restaurant on their picnic table. The pizza was good– lots of tasty toppings! My favorite part was the experience– the lady (I’m assuming the owner) chatted to us about the neighborhood and even gave me a stack of pepperoni to feed my patiently waiting dog :)

Bottomline: I do not recommend this place at all.
I ordered pizza from Papa Dave’s to my office. I never asked for the total and she never said how much it was for a large one. She said 45 minutes and it will be in my hands… She calls me in a bit (not sure how long after, probably not too long) that she can’t spell the name of the street and the GPS cannot find it, but she was talking to me at the same time as her son, them cutting into each others sentences, trying to get me to spell it for them… very unprofessional so far. Why do you need 2 people to deliver a pizza? She is teaching her son? Who is at the store now? That’s fine, but when I pull my DEBIT card out, the son goes: «we won’t be able to take that at the door»… I said too bad, because that’s all I have on me right now. Then go to the ATM she said! WHAT THE HECK? I went up to the closest gas station and they followed me there. I took $ 40 out (+$ 2.50 fee) and gave it to her, then she looked at one of the bills that is the older $ 20 bill and she thought it’s fake… again, what the heck I just pulled it out of the machine and she questions the validity of the bill that I gave her? Then she tells me total is $ 24.80 (for one pizza? really?), but she only has $ 15 back (+some loonies), so she would give me $ 15 and the $ 0.20 is hers… WOW
I really wanted to calm down first and just eat before I actually write this review and so I did: the dog ate at least half of my pizza, which I pretty much hated. Probably mostly because of the unprofessionalism of this company… I thought ordering pizza was easy, this was more like a nightmare.
Oh yes one more thing: she said if I ordered at the «just eat» website I could have paid with interac online… Which I do not know, but that triggered: let’s write my first bad review on a TRULY BAD SERVICE & PRODUCT
