We have never eaten in-house at this establishment, only ordered to pick up. The price for lasagna was about $ 10 and comes with house baked garlic bread. With our order of 2 lasagnas we got 2 free sodas(you an also opt for 10% off instead) Tasty and hot, ready when we got there. Friendly service too. Great for when you’ve had a busy day and too tired to cook. We will return.

We have ordered food from here before and it was ok… slow service and delivery despite that we love less than 5 minutes away, the food was usually cold. Last night we tried to order and it took forever to get answers about the prices of lobster that day. When we finally got that sorted, we also ordered some pita and hummus and golphies lasagna. The woman taking our order kept asking what lasagna we wanted, the lasagna on the menu is called golphies lasagna. After that, i tried to order a donair with no veggies. I asked if i could get it with cheese instead and they had to go ask the kitchen. About four minutes later, a different woman came back and asked me what i needed to know. I explained how i cant eat vegg and asked if o could get cheese and hummus instead. She went through each veg on it asking if i could eat it. I patiently answered her questions and asked for the modifications again. She then told me they cant do substitutions in the register so i asked if she could just charge extra. She then said it is too difficult for the kitchen. I cancelled our already 65 dollar order right there. We used to order from here or eat here every few weeks. Never again. Terrible service and if minor menu changes are too difficult for your kitchen, i suggest hiring new staff.

I know I’m not getting Vassili’s-like quality but it’s a heckuva lot cheaper too. So great for the upcoming hockey game nights for delivery. $ 28 gets you 1 medium pizza, baked lasagna, baked spaghetti and 2 pieces garlic bread. And no GST for delivery on Mon/Tues. They’re located in an older building upstairs, it’s quite spacious and good for the hockey team gang. Good friendly service. Liked how their mobile credit card machine only accepts the chip for security.

I have been to Golphi’s twice now, and I won’t be going back. From the moment we walked into the restaurant, out service was lackluster, despite the fact that the restaurant was practically empty. Our food was not good either. I had the roast lamb and it was mostly fat. When I commented on it, our waitress said she would ask the kitchen, and then came back and told me «that’s how they all are;» it was disgusting. My friends ordered the Greek platter for 2 and all the meat on the plate was dry and the calamari were overcooked, rubbery and flavorless. Plus, our food was all brought out at different times; we had all the hot food delivered and then had to wait five or ten minutes for a Caesar salad! It seems that this restaurant is going downhill, despite the fact that I had heard good things.

I went to Golphis with my family for Mother’s Day and had an excellent time. I have been here a few other times and have had the same level of service provided to me consistently across the board. This visit we had the Steak & Lobster special and the food was top notch. They waitress’ are always pleasant in working with you for whatever side options you want with your meal. I have special dietary concerns and they are always happy to make changes/substitutions for me. My only concern is that they do not offer a Chardonnay wine by the glass — I had to buy a bottle at a $ 30 price tag. PHEW! I can get this bottle down the hill for about $ 12. Again, I have special dietary concerns so the only white wine offered by the glass was a white wine blend. A few more options and this would be a 5 out of 5 :)
