Tatouage Royal Montreal

I got a tattoo done by Hilary, it was a horrible experience!
We had a consultation and I sent her images via email of what I wanted, she said she would get back to me within a week (totally fair) but she did not even after a month. I messaged her to remind her and she messaged me the same day of my appointment. She said she had it ready and we can talk about it before it’s done.
It was not how it went, I got there and she was late and forgot what I wanted. She ended up just getting an image online after I reminded her, the image was not what I had in mind. When I told her it didn’t feel right she got irritated and was not willing to work with me. I would have walked out had it not been for the fact that I was visiting Montréal and had heard good things about the studio. I pulled up the image on my phone that I originally sent her and asked if she could follow it, she said yes like it was no big deal. I had faith in it and tried to have some in her. In the end it was just an outline of the image she got online. It made me question her skills as an artist. I get the impression she just follows Internet images and traces them. She is rude and careless.
I hope she realizes every person she touches will be impacted therefore it is important to take them seriously and be grateful they have chosen her mark on them. Humbly
There are talented tattoo ARTISTS in Montréal with much better customer service.
The studio itself was clean and bright! Comfortable setting and environment.
The rest of the staff seemed pleasant and very talented based on the portfolios.
It was an unfortunate experience but I still wish her the best!

Avec deux amies, nous sommes allées nous faire tatouer à tatouage royal par Viktor Vaclav et nous n’avons pas été déçue du tout.
Tout d’abord, il faut parler de la qualité de leur accueil, tout le monde a pris le temps de répondre à nos questions, de nous conseiller, de nous rassurer aussi.
Ensuite, Viktor s’est rendu disponible pour chacune de nous afin de discuter de nos tatouage respectifs, d’apporter toutes les modifications demandées aux dessins etc… Il a également accepté que nous restions toutes les trois à chaque fois et s’est montré amical et plein d’humour envers nous. En ce qui me concerne, je suis entièrement satisfaite de son travail et de la manière dont nous avons été reçue à Tatouage royal, si je veux me refaire tatouer durant mon séjour à Montréal, je n’envisage pas une seconde un autre endroit.

Very chill and friendly shop. I went to see Sylvie on a recommendation, and after seeing her sketch, cancelled an appointment I made elsewhere to have her ink me. She took the time to listen to me, get an understanding of the concept I had in mind, and then improved on it in ways I couldn’t have imagined.
What now stretches from the middle of my forearm to my shoulder can only be described as a work of art. In fact, I’ve been stopped several times on the street and asked who inked me and where I had it done.
I’m already thinking to the next piece I’d like to have Sylvie do.
