Delicious authentic tacos!!! And the nicest staff in the city. The décor is rustic and homey and the dining room is spotlessly clean!!! Felicitaciones!!!

I went there for the first time today and I really liked it. The friendly waitress explained to us that from Monday to Wednesday, carnitas and al pastor tacos where $ 1 each and that from Thursday to Sunday you can either get a plate of 5 small tacos or 3 big ones for $ 6. My al pastor soft shell tacos were delicious and and the portion was more than satisfying. It came with a delicious green hot sauce.
Drink wise, I was also very happy about my $ 5 margarita, which was cheaper than in most of the Mexican restaurants I’ve been to, in Montréal. Actually, if the tacos plate were not so big, I would have gotten tipsy from the margarita!
El Charro’s is definitely a hidden gem in the obscurities of la Plaza St-​hubert!

This humble restaurant serves big meal & tasty food. Was surprised on our $ 15 main dish — chicken, beef, pork w/​guacamole & tacos (pls see pic). Me, my husband & my 3 yrs old son ended up sharing one main dish & one entrée. The service is very good too.
