Pearle Vision at 3985 Hwy 7 East, Markham has great customer service, and a wide range of frames/​lenses to choose from. A one-​stop shop to get your eye exam and get your glasses done as well.
I’ve sent an e-​mail to them on Easter Sunday to inquire about registering as a new patient when their office was closed, didn’t really expect a response until Monday, but to my surprise, they e-​mailed me back and was able to book me for an appointment for the upcoming Thursday that week.
When I came in, Rossan, the store manager greeted me nicely and with a smile: «You must be Hazel! Glad to meet you!»
I filled out the new patient form, she told me to take my time, though I know the appointment was 1 hour before they close and I had to get a full comprehensive eye exam and pick frames as well.
During the eye exam, Dr. Carmen Tran made me feel comfortable, made everything seems so easy-​breezy. She walked me through everything, and she encouraged me to ask any questions, whatever it may be, since it was my first ever eye exam. She emphasized the need for resting me eyes every once in a while, since I work in an office and in front of the computer for at least 8 hours every day. Not to mention when I get home, I sit in front of my laptop as well. Oh, and yes, on my lunch break, I read my kindle.
After the eye exam, Rossan, the store manager helped me pick up 2 pairs of glasses, since I told her I would like to avail of the buy one get one free promo, and she explained the conditions of the promo, and that it is buy one get one up to $ 400 free on the 2^nd pair. That was fine with me, since all of this will be covered by my insurance anyway.
There is a huge selection of glasses, and I didn’t feel overwhelmed at all since Rossan already narrowed them down and only showed me the ones that really match my face shape and style. I did not feel rushed at all, I took my time, and I did feel undecided for a bit, but she was very patient to me considering it was about nearing, or if it was not, time to close the store for the day.
She did quote me that it will take 7 – 10 business days for the glasses to be made at the lab, but really it only took 5 business days to be completed and sent to the store. At the day of pick-​up, again Rossan greeted me with a huge smile, showed my glasses and adjusted the temples a bit as needed, then gave me a free bottle of spray to clean my lenses.
I will recommend this store, as they have amazing products and great customer service. Thank you Rossan and Dr. Carmen!

Booked an appointment for a eye exam yesterday.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The exam went quickly but seemed more was covered than I recall from previous exams.
The optometrist was very informative throughout and I learned quite a bit.
Overall great experience.
