Meh, it is ok. I have only been once and would only go again as others say, I couldn’t get into another bar. It is really small, the entire place is like the size of my living room and kitchen. The nice thing is they try to attract customers, so if you are at Whyte early they hand out like free drink vouchers so if you are bar hopping it was nice to go for a free drink then leave haha. I definitely would say go here if you can’t go anywhere else but that is all. Oh and it has a pole which can be fun when you are drunk!

This is certainly an over flow bar. When the most popular bars on Whyte Ave get full people decide to head over to Suite 69. That’s exactly how I ended up here on a Saturday night. The Rack, the Pint and Hudson’s were all full and had lines so just head over to Suite 69! There was no line, no cover and didn’t get packed until 1am. If you want to go to a place to dance then come here early, you’ll have the whole small floor to yourself. You can always get a drink fast and prices are pretty regular. Parking around there isn’t bad either since it’s the last one on the popular side of Whyte. Lots of old school tunes and 18 year olds.

Ahhhh, good times at Suite 69. Is that their motto? It should be. It’s clever. It’s exactly what you would expect of a night club just off Whyte with a name like Suite 69. Pumping beats, a sweaty dance floor, crowded bar, cheap drinks for the ladies. I’ve definitely had more than a few very fun nights here with my girlfriends. Ladies — wear heels, but holy moly, those stairs can be steep, especially when you’ve had a drink or two or three or… shots! shots! shots! Wait, what was I saying? Definitely a good place to go on a Friday or Saturday if you’re in the 18 — 25 crowd and looking to party.

What Suite lacks in attendance it makes up for in nostalgia, and it’s always fun to play«Was she born when this song came out?». I remember when this place was popular. But Suite killed The Attic, and then Wooly’s killed Suite. No matter, still a bit of fun for some not-too-crowded dancing. And with more popular clubs in Edmonton, there is a comparatively low amount of airborne syphilis transmitted through the presence of douche! Yay!

One bar, small dance floor, loud music, a few seats here and there, and you have yourself Suite 69. I went here for a reception following an event I attended, so I probably did not get a feel for the way the place really gets on a average Saturday night. I did notice it is small, dark, smells of alcohol, and you can end up waiting a while for your drink. I don’t go for small, crowded, loud places, so Suite 69 probably isn’t for me, but if you are into that sort of thing — here is your place!

This is a pretty groovy club that my friends and I like to hang out when we feel young enough to shake out aging butts. They have a decent sized dance floor so if you really wanted to shake what your mama gave you then you can totally to that at Suite 69. They have a few areas to sit around and some larger sized tables for bigger groups. Guys if your lady drags you out of the house feel content knowing that she dragged you to a place that plays great, hip music and that as a pool table. It’s a cool place to hang out, cut loose and have some fun times with good friends. It can get pretty busy after 10:00pm and you might have to wait in line and once inside you might have to wait to get a drink. Maybe I’m just not tall and sexy so the bartender doesn’t notice me; oh well!

I think anyone going to this club with huge expectations should take a second look at the name. It tells you everything you need to know and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. As you can imagine the club isn’t classy, you don’t have to dress up(I saw people wearing sweats) and it’s not very big. Suite 69 isn’t a place you go to dance or have a great time(the dance floor is small), it is a place you go to get your drink on. It has one bar and it is slammed, people reaching over each other to get drinks, and it is pretty hard to get a turn. Once the bartender comes to you, you might as well order a bunch of stuff in advance so you don’t have to waste time waiting. The music is pounding so it’s pretty tough to communicate unless you are screaming, which leads to losing your voice. Since it is small and comes across as a place to just drink, I would rather go to a lounge. I wouldn’t mind coming here if there was nothing better to do.

In my humble opinion, this club isn’t all that bad. I have been here on several occasions for birthday parties, and I am sure I will be dragged here again. As with any other Edmonton night clubs, this place gets extremely busy on the weekends. There is always a line, and the average waiting period is 15 minutes. The club itself is located on the second floor. Once you get in, you’ll see that this place isn’t big, there’s only one bar, and the dance floor is rather small. Since more often than not the club is crowded, the air inside feels somewhat stuffy. Pair it with alcohol fumes, and you’ve got yourself a headache. The crowd consists of very young people who party hard. The music is generic, and is being played so loudly that after every single visit, I had stuffy ears. On the lighter note — Suite 69 is a rather clean club. If you come here with a good company of friends, you will have a good time and disregard all negative aspects. I’ll repeat myself — Suite 69 isn’t so bad.

A provocative name for a provocative place. This club is a meat market. I’ve been here a few times, and I don’t have any desire to go back. It was once a fun bar to go with a group of girlfriends when we were all single, but now it’s lost its appeal for me. It’s too crowded and the line-up is ridiculous. I’ve heard they just have a line-up to make people want to go inside. The dance floor is also tiny and it’s not easy getting served at the bar ’cause it’s so crowded. As it’s on the second floor, the temperature really rises into the night, especially in the summer. A few years ago you could cool off on the balcony, but I’m not sure if you can anymore. Suite 69 is owned by the same guys who own Devlin’s, and I much prefer their more subdued lounge.
