I bought the groupon for laser hair removal and it wasn’t until my last appointment that they told me i would only see 50% hair reduction(i only saw maybe 30%) after 6 session. Other places say 10−20% per treatment at a lower cost. Disappointing!

As I am looking upon the store front all that is «lit up» is «sation» and that is about the best way to describe my experience at this place. I came for a basic manicure and I should have listened to my instinct when the«call center» lady booked me in. What spa has a call center??? The«spa» hadn’t been updated(paint or furniture) since the 80’s and the selection of colors and polish were likely from the same era. When I asked to see the new fall colors I was presented with two baskets of nail polish to dig through and find what I am after because«she doesn’t know if anything new came in». Say what? My esthetician was ok and I will give her one star(because this can’t post without at least one) and she did the best she could with what«the spa» had to offer. Her hand massage was relaxing and she managed well, topping the bottle to get the last polish out of that bottle(not kidding) and to which she said… It must be a popular color lol — more like buy some new and updated polish you cheap spasation! Important to note is that the estheticians have to bring their own tools and nothing appears to be sterilized. For a $ 55!!! manicure I expect more than what I received here. I will not return.

The two stars are only for the OK massage. After the relaxation massage I did a signature pedicure(60 $$$) doesn’t include anything beside clean my toe nails and remove some dead skin from my foot that in every luxury place will charge you for maybe 45 $! The girl didn’t even knew how to cut and file the nails correct, needed me to tell her what to do!!! Doesn’t seem like the girls there have any experience or any kinda diploma. Horrible experience! Doesn’t worth the money! Too expensive for some nail polish! And no, I’m not gonna go back there anytime soon.

Horrible!!! Never again! I was pregnant and told them several times to make sure to use the natural products. I am allergic to perfumes and chemicals. Plus being pregnant you are even more sensitive then ever. And surprise surprise they said yes yes and don’t worry but ended up using the chemical products which made me so sick!!! I emailed them and told them what happened and nothing was done about it. I should sue their asses!!!

Spasation offers many services, and I have tried a few, but this review is especially focused on my experiences with my massage therapist, Alla. She is incredible. She knows what she is doing, is very kind and will explain what she is doing or ask if I’m ok if I get tense or uncomfortable(if she’s working on a knot or particularly tense area). She has taken time to explain muscle groups and suggest stretches to help problem areas after the massage. I personally appreciate that she doesn’t try to start a personal conversation during the massage — I am there to relax, not for small talk. That may not be everyone’s desired approach, but I prefer it! Generally I find the booking process easy over the phone, and they take my insurance info when I arrive and have it processed by the time I’m finished. I can’t speak to their other services, but I would highly recommend Spasation for a massage, particularly with Alla.

Great customer service! I booked a deep tissue couples massage at this location, and the masseuse that did mine was not very good. My boyfriends was spectacular, so I called customer service after to let them know. The manager called me back right away and they rebooked a complimentary redo at no cost. I was extremely happy with how quickly they dealt with my issue and the second massage was amazing!

Today my boyfriend and I went to this spa for our very first massage. The massage was very peaceful and relaxing, masseuse was great, friendly and knew what they were doing. I also had a facial after my massage followed by eyebrow waxing. This was my first experience for a facial and I did not mind the scrubs on my face. The steamer was so close, I could hardly breathe. It was a bit uncomfortable but I managed. The final mask had to be put on and left for 15 minutes. As the environment is peaceful and soothing I tried to fall asleep to feel relaxed but the staff walking by were so loud and obnoxious I just got up to play on my phone. My eyebrows turned out great! Satisfied with my waxing. After that the lady picked out 3 products for my face and carefully explained how to use them and how they would benefit me. The two ladies at the desk were very welcoming, and friendly which is always a bonus. The last star was not highlighted because of the updates of the spa, it seems very old and worn and if they made it more modern it would be so much better inside!

Came here last week for a cupping massage… Will never go back. The lady seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing, the room was freezing, & where you put your head the pillow kept sliding off so your face was swished against hard metal. I told the lady at the front desk about it, all she said was sorry. She could have at least offered me a free certificate to get my nails done or eye brows considering it was a $ 90 massage that was hell. Will not return here or suggest it to anyone. Really disappointed.

There is truly nothing about this place that I could give a star for. I booked a pedicure, never having been here before. The pedicure room is so outdated. Flashback to 90s is what the pink walls reminded me of. My chair was not comfortable. I’m tall and felt like my knees were at my chin. The lady giving me a pedicure was quiet for about the first half and then started asking questions I felt too personal(do you have kids, why don’t you want kids, what do you do for work). And the worst part, my feet were still rough and dry when I left. Terrible.

This review is strictly for a haircut experience. I went in on a Groupon and had my hair cut by an older Asian lady(sorry, can’t remember her name). The conversation was awkward and not nearly related enough to my hair for my liking. The haircut was one of the worst I’ve had. I won’t be back.

Love the eyebrow waxing although pricey. Had both a Jr. and Sr. Stylist here, definitely ask for the Sr! The Jr. was a waste of time. A very nice atmosphere :)

My daughter ordered a day at the spa online for her sister(340.00) taxes and shipping included, she showed up and was put in a room supposed to be a steam no one turned it on and they left her in it for 20 mins then she goes for her massage and the massuse asked if she had ordered lunch she said no. The massuse went to get her a menu and came back and said she did not get a choice she gets what she gets. A ham sand with mustard and a chicken salad. Her massage was great. then after lunch she had a pedicure and a manicure and before they did her nails they asked if she wanted to settle up. She gives them her gift card and they wanted an additonal 32.00 for an increase in the cost of the package and taxes. She tried to talk to the manager to no avail. She was told rather rudely that she would have to pay it. She did. She has contacted Spasations head office and spoke to 4 different people to get this resolved and her sisters money back. The manager of Spasation Calgary Trail called her a liar and said she only paid the taxes. Thank God for receipts we had a copy that was also sent to head office via email. To date spasation has not returned my calls or emails. I also called and asked if I booked a day at the spa including lunch who decides what I get for lunch. I was told that I would be given a few menus from rest. close by and select what I wanted myself. In this economy it is all about customer service of which the manager of the Spasation Calgary Trail has none. We would not recommend this property to anyone or Spasation in General. They don’t care if their clients are satisfied or not.

I received a gift certificate for a mud bath and a massage from Spasation as a gift last year and I am so glad that I did. What a great experience. When you first get taken back for your appointment, you sit in a little lobby area that reminded me of a ski lodge for some reason, with relaxing music, tea, and candles. My mud bath was amazing. I was extremely, and pleasantly, surprised. I had a private room with candles, music, a huge tub, magazines, a housecoat, towels — everything I could have wanted. It was very relaxing and I felt incredible afterward. My massage was also amazing. My masseuse was a man(which they had asked if I was OK with, otherwise they would have booked me with a female masseuse) and he was very friendly. And very chatty! But what masseuse isn’t? I left feeling more relaxed than I had in a long time and it felt great. I also had my very first waxing experience at Spasation. My waxer was very nice and talked me through everything, asking me if I was OK after every pull. I would recommend Spasation to anyone looking to relax or if you are looking for a great gift!
