Was in the lounge and had the lettuce wraps and they were gross. Wraps don’t taste fresh at all and the chicken and noodles are like a gross wet stir-​fry.
The server was very prompt and efficient however was not personable at all, the place wasn’t that busy.

Service was great, however there were no vegan options and as far as I could see, not any options for gluten free either?
Ended up eating a lettuce wrapped veggie burger. Unfortunately, the veggie patty contained cheese and was premade.
Can’t win them all, but this was my only option.

Horrific service!
Had a party of 9, sat got a drink, waited 40 minutes for the server to come back and ask if the party was here and ask for another round. Finally took our food order. Messed up on one order and every one was finished eating before his food came. Never did a quality check. Waited until halfway through our meal to get the second round of drinks.
Bar side was maybe half full. Dirty dishes were not cleared from a couple that had appies. Bussers were standing sound not doing much.
I’ve served in high end restaurants for years. Never had this bad of service.

Looks great after the renos! Sleek and polished, this location has finally caught up with the others. We opted to sit at the bar and had exceptional service by the blond gentleman bartender. (Didn’t catch his name). I find the service can be really hit or miss here. But we went here on a Sunday afternoon, (dressed like bums before Sonic Boom) and the place was half full. Perfect meal on a gloomy Sunday. The game was on the flat screen TV’s. Food came out fast and delish! We started with the med bread trio drip and each had the chicken soulvaki. He was attentive, our drinks were constantly refilled, he made good recommendations and was all around very pleasant. Also, he made the best gin and tonic I have tasted in my life!

I was pleasantly surprised by Moxies when I went here. Last time it was very mediocre but it’s a beautiful restaurant with a great patio space and a comfortable atmosphere. We didn’t get any entrees this time but we really enjoyed our desserts and drinks. The house white is pretty decent. Our waitress was lovely and we had an excellent experience.

First impressions are everything and this place really delivers. They have two very beautiful ladies that hold the doors open in welcoming you. The cook is amazing and really changes up the menu to satisfy customers. Love this place, totally recommend it.

I was in Moxies last Tuesday afternoon. I have been to Moxies before, but never this location. I got the soy chicken slovaki — it was amazing! As good as our food was our server (Chris) was by far the best part of the whole experience. He was very friendly and highly knowledgeable of the menu and I felt he put in extra effort to assure that we not only got our food the way we requested (I am picky with my food) but he really pushed to make sure we had a great experience. He was quick to get our drinks refilled and he made menu recommendations. I’m definetly going to return to this location (even though I live right next to the Moxie’s on Calgary trail) and specifically request to be seated in Chris’s section.

The only reason I’m giving this review 2 stars is because I enjoyed the food and my drink was good. Which I guess is why you go to a restaurant. The new restaurant is great and the hostesses were awesome too — but our waitress was another story. We were seated on the patio which was awesome. We went on Monday night and it was a little overcast and the wind picked up a bit, so someone turned the patio heaters on FULL BLAST and my skin was actually BURNING. Half my body was RED from being burnt by the patio heaters. I asked the waitress to turn them off and she huffed and went and said she’d turned them off. I was unable to enjoy my meal because it came out just as I was roasting. The waitress made no effort to re-​seat us or make us more comfortable or get a manager to help us out, actually at no point during our visit did we even see a manager anywhere around.
I’m aware that the girls don’t wear much clothes, but it is not my problem and I’d rather not fry under a heater. It wasn’t that cold. We were both sitting comfortably in short sleeves. Once the heat came on we both had issues with the temperature.
Not cool Moxie’s. Literally.

First time here, service has been NON EXISTENT. We were seated, drink order taken and then nothing… nobody. We sat for another 20 minutes before we could order food. I am still waiting for another beer, I could of had two by now. Not impressed.

finally got to check out the new and improved location. Can’t wait to see it in the summer. The patio looks awesome. we went for an early supper and the place was already full. We got the last free table in the lounge. The place is beautiful and thankfully a lot bigger than the old. I’ve never had a bad meal at moxies so like always the food was great. I had the chicken rigatoni which was amazing. followed by the white chocolate brownie which is always the main reason I ever go there. Their tap selection was great and the mojitos also. The main thing that impressed me was our server.
Our server was Stacey. She was phenomenal from start to finish. Our drinks were never empty, she was energetic and fun. When undecided between two meal choices she recommended the rigatoni which was amazing. By far the best service we had received anywhere in a very long time.

This location just opened up and there a few kinks still. The décor looks nice but not comfortable. Food was decent. Service needs some work as they mixed up our order. Would not go back.

I was hugely disappointed with the service at this location, I have been a fan of Moxies for years and after today’s episode I will not return to this location. The waitress was rude and to top it off she was picking her ear with her finger as she was speaking to me. The food was distasteful, the cesar salad was another disappointment because the lettuce was absolutely swimming in dressing. My date also was very unhappy with the service after asking for water to drink the waitress brought one glass and after we requested a second glass she acted as if she had no energy at all and no will to get a glass of water.

The menu here was not that great and I find every time I eat here, I go home and experience severe indigestion, also their cocktail selection is great, as is their white chocolate brownie.
If you want a nice dessert and a drink, this is a wonderful place, otherwise I try to avoid it when possible.

Moxie’s is a top choice for me when I am in this part of the city. This location is excellent for entertaining business clients or just hanging out with my wife. Staff are always friendly and we are usually served very quickly.

I’m a very picky eater. 2^nd visit here and yet again the food upset my stomach… Bad. Won’t ever go back.

Pretty nice restaurant to go for a nice dinner, or to sit around in a group after coming back from something like karaōke. This is a pretty good location if you wanted to go shopping before or after a meal, as Kingsway mall is just across the parking lot.

When I come back to Edmonton, the first thing I want to try again here is the brownie dessert. I’m trying to find a way for my cousin to ship it here to me without if going bad.
