Salads are good but stay away from the hot items like the bowls. I have tried several of their bowls and they are all disappointing. However since there are so few healthy options in the mall I went back today and got the turkey sirracha chilli bowl. The turkey was finely shredded and wet, it looked exactly like tuna out of a can. I suspect this turkey came out of a can too. It was wet, soggy and extremely bland aside from the overpowering sirracha. I give this place two stars solely because the salads are good. I would not return.

Love the food here, prices are always a little high for this chain. My only issue with this particular location is that it NEVER opens on time. Expect to wait 30 mins — to an hour passed the time it states on its website…

Normally I would give Freshii a 3 star rating. I think they do a decent salad, but feel that it’s over priced for what you get. Let’s face it, there is little they really need to do save combine ready to be served ingredients. … Perhaps they make their own dressing? However, where they are situated changes the value I perceive of Freshii. The short of it is that WEM is a nutrition dessert at the ‘low’ end price point. And I don’t see anywhere else in the mall you can get a decent salads for under 10 $, Freshii has several. My favourites are the protein and grilled salmon salads. Both of then are good and reasonably affordable. In terms of healthy, it destroys the surrounding competition. Bottom line is they deliver on my needs time and time again. Hard to not give them credit for that…

I struggled with the rating. Most of the time, this place is amazing. The few times it isn’t, it is terrible. Consistency is a struggle. Getting my custom order slightly wrong isn’t a big deal to me, I am not really concerned with the fact they sometimes forget to add one of my ingredients. On the other hand, I am extremely disappointed with spoiled ingredients in my order and the employees handling money then handling my food. I’m not sure who the manager is because I have never met them. Feedback to the main company doesn’t change things but will get you a free item.

I went here for lunch today when I was at West Edmonton Mall. I had the Bistro salad, which was pretty good. I actually walked around both food courts, trying to find something that was LOWCARB. I had no luck, so I went to Freshii. The prices are a tad bit high, but a meal from Freshii is a healthier alternative than the carb laden high sodium fast food that’s typically served at other places. The service wasn’t bad either. I wish there was a Freshii at the malls in my hometown!

I hate eating in mall food courts. I consider eating at most fast food places in West Ed abuse to my body and wasting my money on crap. Freshii actually has kale chips and organic candy, and food that I can eat without feeling awful afterwards. A filling whole-grain-veggie-mixed rice bowl, for example, is $ 8. I think that’s a fair price when you compare what you would get at one of the neighboring places for the same amount of money(nutritional-value-wise, there is no comparison!). The décor may be a little cold and lacking(the lighting is awful in the order area) but the food is great and I am sooo thankful there is a healthy place to spend my money when I’m super hungry.

I have to give more props to Freshii than what’s here. I never order anything other than salads here, but I always enjoy them. And I pretty much like any establishment that enables you to custom-build your meal. If I end up at the mall at lunchtime, this is my spot. It’s not terribly exciting, but it doesn’t upset your stomach in the way the nearby establishments may,

Whenever I’m in West Ed and need to eat, I usually head for Yakisoba, or the T&T hot food counter. But my fiancé wanted to have some healthy food, so we decided to try Freshii. It has a nice clean storefront near the McDonald’s in the main food court. Their concept is to provide healthy tasty food made with top notch ingredients. They sell soups, salads(full meal salads — like with chicken or other proteins), burritos, noodle/rice dishes, and assorted little snack things(granola bars, etc). We ordered the Asian noodle bowl(peanut sauce and chicken) and turkey cobb wrap. It wasn’t very busy so we got our food pretty fast. As someone else mentioned, they put the salad in a bag and shake it up to toss before putting it in the wrap. I didn’t see them prepare my noodle bowl because I walked away to look at their custom menu — you can pick up a clipboard that has a menu with different columns and checkboxes and you can create your own soup/salad/everything. Neat idea. So although this place is on the expensive side($ 17 for the bowl and wrap), it is a reasonable amount of food. The whole wheat wrap is huge! I found the salad well-mixed. A good amount of turkey, hard-boiled egg, and although I love bacon, in the interest of being ‘healthy’, I like that they use real bacon in small amounts so that you still get lots of bacon flavour. The noodle bowl came in a takeout-type container that was deceivingly small(maybe 4″ x 4″ x 5″?) but packed a lot of noodles. The taste was reminiscent of pad thai, but more peanut-y and with ginger. The rice noodles were al dente and not oversauced, with lots of real chicken chunks and veggies(including whole soy beans) and these crunchy sticks(maybe fried wonton skins? I think I saw that on the menu) that added a nice contrast. I don’t go out of my way to eat at healthy places like this very often so I can’t comment as to how this food stacks up. However, I thought it was pretty tasty for a healthy meal, with good portions, and I would try this place again. Oh by the way they do take credit cards.

I was thrilled to find this rose amongst a ton of thorns(chains). While the prices were a little high, I was grateful for fresh food options and great service. I had the cobb salad with dressing on the side and I was not disappointed. It was so large I could not finish the entire salad. There needs to be more healthy food options in mall food courts and less of the crappy, unhealthy food options. Perhaps if the prices were lower and more comparable to a MacDonald’s meal they would have more families trying the healthier food. Either way I would eat here again if given the choice!

This place is new to me at WEM(west edmonton mall) so i gave it a try. Ordered the Mandarin Chicken Burrito, and i have to say, it was tasty, very very flavorful, but price was a bit high. Otherwise id make special trips to get food here. Service was good, All the staff i saw that was working greeted people that walked in and even out.

Freshii is a healthy alternative in a West Ed foodcourt. They serve all kinds of noodle dishes and wraps. I have tried this place a couple of times now and never quite feel satisfied afterwards. Healthy food doesn’t have to be flavorless, and unfortunately this has been my experience here on more than one occasion. Their noodle bowls are also FULL of carb-coma inducing noodles and not much protein to be found. They are good a place to stop though if you want to grab a couple hard boiled eggs as a snack. I also tried one of their yogurt parfaits today and was really sad on the first bite when the yogurt itself was just plain yogurt instead of a low fat vanilla. No amount of fruit and granola could cover up the bland sourness of it. This place has great intentions!

I think it’s a little over priced and there was not nearly enough dressing on my salad, but it tasted pretty good. I gave myself a limit of $ 10 and got a fair amount of ingredients. It’s fast food and it’s healthy, so it was fine. Oh and I reccomend paying $ 1.50 for Goat Cheese because without it I think my salad wouldn’t have been very good. The flatbread it comes with is nothing special.

Freshii does alot of diffent types of foods. they claim to be really healthy and i’m not going to argue that. I just wish they could make their healthy dish taste better. i’ve tried noodle dishes and rice dishes and found them to be unmixed and flavor lacking. it sounds like such a delicious meal but when you receive it, it’s pretty disapointing. i’d recomend just going somewhere else or packing a lunch instead.

Freshii sells wraps, soups, and salads that offer unique combinations of proteins, vegetables, and other fillings. There is a menu of creations they can make for you, or you can customize your own wrap or salad or even a soup. I opted for a turkey cobb salad wrap, which was a heavy portion of greens, hard boiled egg, avocado, turkey, honey mustard dressing, and bacon(which I asked to be held). The ingredients were placed in a plastic bag and shaked together before being poured onto a soft, whole wheat tortilla. It was satisfying and definitely different. Full sized wraps are around $ 8, so the price is not bad either.
