Edmonton Public Library – Jasper Place Branch

Beautifully located next to Meadowlark shopping area. This building is easily noticeable with its beautifully structured design on the outside and although it’s quite an average size library — the layout on the inside is spacious, modern and well thought out.
They boast two small computer areas for the public to use for prints or just web browsing. A spacious ceiling which makes the atmosphere so roomy and less traditional. It has a ground floor and level 1. Level 1 has a private room for a quieter atmosphere — a computer area — lots of sockets even on the bigger stairways near the entrance which I find it quite awesome — lots of comfy seating area as well which makes working on laptops or reading utterly comforting.
There is a small section but adequate area for kids. Pretty kid-​friendly here.
I don’t know about anyone else, when I was there — I almost forgot to look at the time. This is one of the best library so far — in Edmonton anyway.
