I’ve been here many times. When I first walked in I was extremely hesitant. It was 2 rooms and 2 women one waiting to do my laser the other as a receptionist. I was expecting more of a medical setting. However they made me feel very comfortable now this is the only place I will go to. Prices are good and the laser works wonderfully for hair removal. Will be there again!

This is a great place to go for hair removal. I kept getting in grown hairs so decided to finally get the whole deal done. After 6 sessions the hair is so fine that when I have to shave is easy and I don’t get in growns any more which means no more scars.

Well I’m on visit number three, two visits for back, and one for a chest/​ab.
My back had very fine dark hair, that was almost invisible from 6 feet away, and my chest has darker and courser hair, not as bad as some guys but enough that I didn’t like it. I have been waxing for over 15 years, and I don’t find it all that painful, but the results are very short lived, after 2 – 3 days the hair was visible again.
After the first laser treatment on my back, the skin was very slightly pink, and was gone by the next morning. Afters six weeks there was so little hair I continplated not not going back because there really wasn’t much for signs of hair at all.
The results where so good on my back I decided to go ahead have my chest/​abs done today, if the results are any where near what I have had on my back it will be money well spent.
The staff is very professional, and plesent to talk too, while they worked on me. As other people have stated, it really is almost painless, I would describe the sensation similar to a very very mild electro static shock. I did notice the sensation did seem to be a little more noticeable on the courser chest hair then on the finer back hairs, but no where near what waxing is.
The only things I would like to see this company do different is get more machines, as they are very busy and booking a time is very limited. And secondly get a freeking bottle warmer, for the ultrasound gel.

I went in 100% skeptical that there would be ANY difference. I have thick black man-​beard hair both in placement and in growth pattern. I typically pluck daily. And it grows back daily. As an FYI, I’m 45 and of french descent. I went in and had my entire face (neck, chin, sideburns and lip) done. It feels like you’re getting a zap like when it’s dry and someone touches you. However, it’s not painful, just shocking.
It took over a week to notice any difference. The hair continued to «grow» however there was a noticeable difference in the texture of the hair. Then it started to fall out.
It’s been three weeks since I went in. The hair on my chin has started to grow back, but it is blond and thin. There unfortunately is no real difference on my upper lip, however, I’ve heard that’s it harder to treat, and I’ve only had one treatment.
Overall I’m beyond estatic, and I’ll definitely be going back. The price is extremely reasonable. I hope your results are as awesome as mine were. I am kicking myself for waiting as long as I did.

I was quite anxious to have laser hair removal again — prior to getting pregnant I had gone in for a treatment as I had purchased a Groupon at a reputable salon which I had heard personal reviews for. I think I have average pain tolerance but OH MY GOODNESS!!! They didn’t do anything wrong, and I didn’t have any strange reactions — but, I could not force myself to go back in for another torturous treatment!
I read the reviews on Bush Whacked here on Unilocal,took at the price list, and decided it’d be worth a chance. It took me weeks to get in as they are quite booked, but the booking clerk was very professional.
I let Angelique know my concerns, she was patient and took the time to answer my questions and reassure me prior to starting my first treatment. I was in awe of how painless it was — yes it does feel cool, yes you can feel a bit of heat as the laser heats up the follicle — but it was almost relaxing rather then the sharp severe snap/​slap/​burning feeling I had previously experienced.
I would absolutely recommend Bush Whacked Laser to anyone who has had a negative experience with laser hair removal previously, or who is considering laser for the first time. Their pricing is competitive, their décor is relaxing and spa like, and their service is friendly, warm and professional!

Angelique gave my first ever laser treatment. Seriously — I want to get everything done now. First off — the studio is immaculate, and the person that decorated clearly has a knack for interior design. Second — every girl that works here is so friendly and approachable. They made the experience of inquiring an easy one, and they made it less intimidating to ask questions and feel confident going into the treatment.
Everyone wants to know… What’s it feel like? Honestly, the most uncomfortable part is when they put the «ultrasound gel» on you… SO COLD! Aside from that, the laser itself is truly what they say: painless. I can only explain the it as a strange, warm sensation… The closest it came to hurting was something similar to getting a little static shock.
I do not have black hair, and I have already seen some results. Do not fret if it seems like the body hair seems to be growing in normally; I found that once it started to grow out, it literally would fall out if you were showering/​pulled on it haha (curiosity… how can you not check it out?!). They told me about 10% of the hair would disappear each time; I would say that is about accurate. I already am seeing a significant reduction.
Watch for deals on their FB page… They are pretty generous with posting specials and it’s worth keeping an eye on.

Professional service, friendly staff and competitive prices with frequent specials. The Alma laser used here is literally pain-​free and produces results comparable to other painful lasers. The downside is that several passes are needed over each spot as the laser gradually heats up the follicle, so the sessions take longer than they do at most other places.

I went to Laser Sheer for underarm treatment and saw no difference. Bush Whacked uses different technology (painless) and I saw a dramatic difference after the first session. They are professional, friendly, and are far more reasonably priced than the majority of their competitors. I highly recommend them.

With a winter beach wedding to attend, I thought it was time to book another appointment to get some man-​scaping done.
Although the ever popular Sandy was on holidays, I was helped by an equally knowledgeable and friendly technician.
Absolutely no waiting time as I was in and and ready to be bush whacked within a few minutes. Their hours go beyond the normal work day as my appointment was at 19:00 which is very convenient for most who work 9 – 5 jobs.
Once again, the process was very quick and pain-​free. I even got some aloe to soothe any pesky spots that were a little sensitive to the treatment.
After chatting with the staff a bit, it looks like their hours will be extended and they will be offering services seven days a week in the near future.

Bush Whacked Laser is the only place that I have found the Alma Pain Free Laser and trust me, this laser is pain free! The girls are very professional and the prices are competitive. I have had 3 treatments done so far and love the results– the areas are practically hair free. I would not go anywheres else for laser, not for any price.

I had a wonderful experience at Bush Whacked! I had never had laser hair removal done before so I was kind of nervous of the pain, but was pleasantly surprised that it was absolutely pain free. I had my under arms done and it took about 10 minutes. The lady who lasered me was really nice and I was totally comfortable. Her attitude was great and she made a shy person like me feel at ease. It’s been about 5 days since my first session (she said I’ll likely need four, $ 150 altogether) and I haven’t experienced any redness or little bumps that I usually get when I wax. I am so excited to think of never needing to shave my armpits again. I will definitely go back for my other hairy parts!
