I booked very last minute and they were very helpful I was in and out in 10 minutes with no reservation they gave a 2016 volkswagon golf GTI drove 900 kms on 55 $ of gas I would recommend this place to anyone

Was supposed to be picked up at a particular location by the rental car company. They didn’t show up, so I had to call them (not off to a good start). They show up 15 minutes late. The mid-​sized car they were to supply me with had a warning on the dash that the hood was ajar. They still wanted me to take the vehicle, and said «but the hood is closed, we checked». I stated that I did not want a malfunctioning vehicle. I was given two choices, a Mini-​Van or a Suburban. No other cars were available. They finally agreed to swap vehicles later in the day so off I went in the mini-​van. When my vehicle did arrive it had all season tires (with a winter storm schedule to arrive during my rental period) and it smelled like a wet dog had been in the car minutes before.
Extremely unimpressed.

Planning to hit the open road with the sun in your face and the wind at your back? Then this is not the place for you. Go buy a convertible or something. But if you need to get somewhere within the maritimes and don’t want to put the miles on your own rig, then this Enterprise will do nicely.
I’ve rented dozens of times from this location over the past several years and it’s been pretty much okay. Online and phone bookings have both been smooth and I’ve never had a trouble getting a car booked even on short notice.
I will say that what you book versus what you actually drive away in rarely lines up. This has typically worked in my favour, mostly because I’m fussy. Whenever I’ve booked at one level (size or luxury), I’ve always been given that or better depending on what the lot.
For example, last time I booked a luxury sedan (see: «fussy») and drove off in an Acadia that seated nine for the same price. That’s not to say they haven’t tried to downgrade me on the spot «because we can’t guarantee vehicle availability» but like Phil, I’m a stickler with that booking sheet.
The moral of the story is, book with caution, stand your ground, and drive safely.

So here is the story…
We booked a rental car online. 3 days rental, mid size because we were going on the highway.
Went to pick up the car and they gave us a Focus. NOT mid-​size by any stretch of the imagination. They tried to charge us the mid-​size price. When we pulled out the online confirmation they said the price was for online booking, different than the in-​person booking?!? But we BOOKED it online… show paper again.
3 people later and a lot of patience on our part we settled on the Focus, there were no mid-​size available except for a Jetta (which didn’t fit), and we got the proper pricing (had to take out my iphone to show them the pricing online…)
Overall not a good experience, felt like we were a bother, even though we just wanted what we booked (online).
