If there was an option to pick 0 stars, I would do that. THE WORST SERVICE I can ever remember getting. We booked two mani/​pedis for 1030 to go together, at first it was no problem. We show up to find out it’s not possible for them to do both of us at once. So I sat in the chair for 1.5 hours waiting for my service. The lady working on our feet was lazy and sloppy and tried to tell us about «hidden fees» which we refused to pay. Don’t waste your time, don’t buy a groupon for there, avoid that place like the plague.

im usually a one line reviewer, i hate all this, i really do but,
my hair was ruined, i have never paid so much, to look so bad.
i had a similar experience as Jamie D, (check it out, reviews on the 2^nd page. under reviews not recommended)!!! there are several reviews there and i wish i had seen these prior to my visit. also a few have been removed seem to have the owners name as the reviewer? so odd
the message left below (in response to my review) is a story that the owner of the shop fabricated, she is not telling the story of my hair.
so, to set the story straight :
— I NEVER USED BOX DYE!
–and you did not use weak bleach/​that stuff was intense.
my hair was dark brown /​using color purchased at a beauty store.
— when i first bleached my hair (in November), i went to a salon downtown.(wish i went back there the 2^nd time) the only reason i did not go back was parking prices downtown ($$), i would never do it at home. i have a lot of hair.
the downtown salon did a stellar job, however i wanted a different color.
–YOU DID NOT SALVAGE MY HAIR!

when i went to Platinum, my hair was soft and to my shoulders, NOT over processed at all. all one length.
i had one bleaching, ONLY ONE!!! zero damage, I communicated this, and you could tell my hair was bleached, pretty obvious, no removers, nothing at home.
–Wang kept adding more bleach (at the washing station), it was odd, but i don’t do hair, so i did not question this.
–i just wanted it a different color, and they destroyed it,
ever since Wang did my hair it is frazzled and breaks off, and i will need to cut it, to about two inches or less. she is the «pro» i am the customer, i trusted her and this is what i got for my $$. how is this salvaging my hair?
–i did listen to their advice about oils, i use Aveda drying oil, i have not used a brush or anything other than my fingers, no heat, they never gave me any warnings, just instructions, if i had been told not to bleach again, i wouldn’t take the chance, who would? i have purchased several hair masks etc… but the damage was done.
it is going to take years to fix.YEARS.

if my hair was fried when i came in (and it was not) why on earth would you bleach it again? isn’t that contradicting what you said?
this salon owner has private messaged me that i am ruining her business with my review etc, that is not my intention, i just don’t want anyone else to go through this.
i really wish i had a different result, i am not happy with my new frazzled ugly look, wish i was leaving a five star review instead of this, wish i loved my hair.

I would never recommended this salon! I would actually steer anyone in the opposite direction! I went in to see Wang recommended by a friend considering I an always so apprehensive when going into a new salon. I thought this would be a good experience and IT WAS NOT!!! I went in with hair as long as my bra line and to this day I have a bob, I have never been so disappointed in my entire life! She over processed my hair to the point where the only solution was to cut it all off. She lightened my hair way more than what I wanted! And I had to ask her to wash off the bleach as when I touched my hair it was hot I knew that it was going to be bad! She told me it’s ok to do treatments and come back. This was done on a Thursday after the weekend of bad compliments n friends asking me oh no what did u do. I called back asking for her to darken it. I went the next day and she charged me for her mistake! Let alone paying $ 120 for her to destroy my hair! I went in with the idea of lightening my ends to an ombré effect. I felt as though she wouldn’t listen to me and basically did her own thing. Every time I tried to say anything she interrupted with «I have 19 years experience we’ll see what we can do». I feel that with her «19 years experience» she should’ve listened to her client! I have some hair knowledge and she should’ve known what she was doing! Years it took me to grow my hair long and I was completely embarrassed all summer long dreading having to deal with my hair. It says I rated it one star which is incorrect and won’t let me remove! I feel like she should be more respectful to what her clients are asking of her instead of show boating her years of experience, which are obviously irrelevant since I would say she did not know what she was doing!

This is a review of a hair-​cut and style by Wassam. I know that Wang is mentioned by a lot of people, but when I called for a curly-​hair specific hair cut, she booked me with him. Needless to say, I was very very happy with her choice. Wassam was fanatastic. Absolutely fantastic.
I am always leery about my haircuts. I have naturally very curly hair and I have found that very few people know how to really cit it. Most people wash it, cut, and then style it only as if you are going to blow dry it straight. The techniques for making a beautiful, rounded curly style are definitely not the same for making a bob and there are quite a few stylists who just do not get that.
Also, one of my problems was that I got this really awful kertin/​chemical treatment that had destroyed my hair. I have been trying to grow it out long enough so that I could get my hair cut and get it all removed (without looking like I had a tiny-​fro on my head.) Pure success. I have attached a picture of my new hair cut and I couldn’t be happier.
Wassam does, though. He also understands that hair should be a conversation between the stylist and the client. We spent a good 5 – 10 minutes talking through what I actually wanted. He didn’t push me into any specific style and he actually listened to my suggestions, instead of blowing them off. in the end, we had come to an agreement that was informed by our discussion and I felt confident that I was going to get a great style out of it.
And I did. I love my new hair cut.
I haven’t tried any of the other services so I can’t comment. However, I can say a bit about the salon in general. They offer the full array of nail/​spa services. One woman was getting her nail done when I walked in and was very happy with the service she received. Someone else was getting her hair colored and couldn’t stop raving about it when it was done. This is a great, laid-​back salon where you can get good service without feeling like you’re paying for the ‘trendiness’ factor.
There is also plenty of parking as this is in the corner of a little plaza.

You must not walk, you simply HAVE to get a hair appt with WANG. This woman is as good as it gets with hairstyling.
Wang really knows her trade, you can tell as she cuts, colors and styles hair. I found Wang to be extremely thorough, friendly and courteous.
I have curly hair, and Wang seems to cut and style it far better than any other stylist I have EVER encountered.
Keep your passion Wang, it really shows in your work.
